my favorite café in edinburgh to go! loves the place! their muffins are so good! can not wait to go back to this place when I visit edinburgh soon!

it is my way to bakery for some amazing coffee and muffins. it is a beautiful setting and is definitely worth it. the muffins are soft and delicious.

right before vita, his next caffe to my residenz. the coffee is really great and the muffins and cheesecakes are just the best in the entire fountain area. Voir le carte

Just been for 70th Birthday breakfast with my Mum. Amazing, we are all stuffed! Homemade bread is out of this world, yummy! Thank you, we all had a great time.

big busy caffe, huge menu with many original choices really enjoyed eating and the coffee service could have been faster (we were in a hurry so unfair to complain too much) but would def.

Coffee was lukewarm as was the food. Pancakes were burnt round the edges (not sure how they managed that) and bacon was like it had been sitting on a hotplate for hours. Rock hard and cold. Wouldn’t rush back, overpriced and overhyped. Voir le carte

Needless to say one of the best eggs benedict i ever had. The menu uploaded here needs a revamp as they have added few dishes. Eggs benedict with mozzarella,tomatoes and basil sauce PERFECT . They were more than willing to incorporate your request if u need any changes, i ask the ramen burger with a veggie twist which was not in the menu, however they obliged, unfortunately it wasn't that great. They made fresh vanilla cheese cake which was worth a try, pancakes was ok nothing great In the end, i would say this is an ideal breakfast place, i had been for lunch though !

We absolutely loved our breakfast here! Their porridge with honey and toasted almonds was definitely the best porridge we’ve ever had (we can compare with other Edinburgh’s places . The staff was very kind and we just loved the welcoming atmosphere. I didn’t realize the vegan benny’s are going to be a little spicy when I was ordering them. The waiter noticed there was something I wasn’t happy about, apologized multiple times, even though it wasn’t their mistake at all. They even went to speak to the chef! What I’m trying to say, they really do make sure their customers are more than happy!:

I'm starting to explore this side of Edinburgh and have heard that Loudons was a super wee spot for lunch; so decided to drop by one cold crisp day. The cafe is large and open inside with table service. As you enter there are numerous high chairs and tables and then the main body of the cafe has a mix of wooden tables and chairs and large comfy sofas. It seems to be a very popular spot for mummies and children as well as the older generation. I was seated and given the menu. I was a little taken aback at the cost of the dishes on the menu, for a cafe they seem just a little overpriced lunch would be on average £10 plus what ever your order to drink.
