"We visited Lazzaroni at 8:45 on a weekday night as a group of four. The restaurant was empty at that time. The decor is amazing and impressive, the menu is varied and quite extensive, and the servers are attentive and polite. Two other couples arrived by 9:30 but the place still felt oddly empty. We ordered a pasta, a salad and two pizzas. The food was good, but nothing to rave about. One of our friends ordered a glass of red wine and the server poured her the little bit that was left in the bottom of an already opened bottle. Yuck. Really? The table service is 1.5€ per person. I guess that was for the 4 tiny pieces of bread that they plunked on the table along with some mozzerella covered in olive oil? Overall it wasn't a great dinner and I won't return. The restaurant is lacking a welcoming vibe and seems to be stingy with it's portions vs. prices. I'll be interested to see how long it stays open. Shame, because it really is beautiful to look at and it could be great."

The restaurant is well located and the food is so delicious! I think we’ve become fans since the first time we visit. Wines also were a high point (great selection of wines). The waiter Abel made us feel really comfortable! Best pizza of the region, really amazing.

Bueno, después de recorrer infinidad de restaurantes de comida italiana a lo largo de mis 43 años, he de decir que comí la mejor pizza de mi vida, fue algo espectacular que no lo puedo describir con palabras. El lugar me sorprendió, la verdad me encanta la comida italiana y no esperaba tener una tan buena cerca. Primero la decoración y el lugar es muy bonito y agradable, la atención muy cordial y amable, el dueño y una camarera nos atendieron de maravilla. Pedimos pizza y pasta marinera, luego de postre torta de queso y tiramisú y la verdad espectacular.. lo recomiendo 100% repetiré!!

I’ve been living in Madrid for the past 15 years and most Italian restaurants were mediocre, particularly when it comes to simple pasta and pizza. I went to Lazzaroni with my family and this is definitely a game changer. The pizzas were incredible and both the chef and the maitre d’ were very nice and attentive. I was ready to go home after an excellent meal but then my daughters wanted to order the pizzaola with Nutella and to my surprise and delight we got a complementary tiramisu from the chef and I have to come back!
