"I recently visited this restaurant in the hope of getting a table without a reservation, as they were offering a great deal of two courses for £10.95 before 6:30pm. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly young staff member who checked for availability. A young male staff member informed us that a table was available, but was then contradicted by an older female staff member who stated there were no tables. Despite there being empty tables in the restaurant, we were advised to sit outside. However, we were disappointed to learn that the two courses deal was not available for outdoor dining, which was not mentioned on their social media or website. We decided to dine elsewhere due to the poor communication and service from the staff. Unfortunately, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant in the future."

Lovely conservatory with nice atmosphere. Main course Thai Chicken stir fry rice was quite stodgy and chicken was mediocre. Lemon Meringue pie was as flat as a pancake and the clotted cream was far too heavy. Dessert was very expensive.

We travelled as a couple, we are not vegan however the family that we were visiting are. Vegan meals are available and the hotel offered to adapt other meals to Vegan recipes if required. food hot and fresh, service friendly, not cheap but good quality.

We always visit this restaurant when we stay at the caravan park in Saltcoats. They always manage to find us a table and the food is delicious. The menu is great and the prices are reasonable. The staff are extremely accommodating and go above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience.

Had a afternoon tea here with my mother in law, daughter and daughter in law. Service was really good, nothing was too much trouble, sausage rolls and sandwiches wer excellent, scones and pancakes wer lovely and the cakes wer tremendous. Plenty to choose from and what was left was packed up for us to take with us. Would definitely recommend. Voir le carte

Went here for christmas dinner.Paid £70 a head.Starter was not to bad the soup was tasteless.Had traditional Turkey but it tasted like cheap turkey out of iceland. The pigs in bllankets where pale not even crispby bacon.Never had pudding as the last course put me right off.Just lets say it was no where near £70 a head more like 3 course for a tenner.Wont be in a hurry to go back

We stumbled upon this restaurant and were thrilled with the wonderful menu and friendly staff. One of our starters was the haggis and black pudding scotch egg, which was quite large for a starter. Upon cutting into it, we found a perfectly runny egg, which isn't easy to achieve with the density of the meat. The dish tasted amazing. The prawn starter had large, properly cleaned prawns. The menu had a variety of options to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We called ahead and were lucky to get a table on a sunday afternoon. Parking is to the back of the venue and the restaurant is in a conservatory at the front with its own bar. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We decided to take the 3 course for 14.95 menu. For the price the selection was great and the quality of food plus portions were excellent. I had crayfish and avocado with **** mary dressing which was tangy and spicy. That was followed by well cooked haddock and chips and afterwards i had the homemade sticky toffee pudding which was moist and delicious. For the price i think you would be hard pressed to beat it! Stopped by for lunch with my daughter today, hadn’t booked… not a problem. Also didn’t have the bank card… also not a problem, they accept Apple Pay. We were seated in the conservatory had drinks with us within a minute or two. Food arrived shortly after ordering from the dine sublime menu it was delicious, the usual high standard we’d expect from here. Fresh, tasty well presented, it hit the spot. Staff were friendly attentive, even happy to recommend a dessert when asked the biscoff straboffee pie by the way get it! The only drawback today was that they can’t accept gratuities by card, noted for next time. Thank you, we’ll be back :

Due to the good weather we went down to the beer garden for the second week on the trot. Weather nice, drinks nice. After a few drinks a young waiter took our order and never came with the drink. After chasing him up the drink arrived. He held the credit card reader machine up in the air and I proceeded to do the contactless transaction. There was just something odd about how he held it away from me so I opened my banking app and he had double charged. When challenged he ‘couldn’t work out what has happened’. We had been using the machine all day with the waitresses and the figures are manually inputted and not tied into the main till. I got the refund but drank up and took my business elsew...

"We were a party of 5, on a cold, very wet Saturday evening, coldest so far I would say! We drew up and saw a young family of 3 sitting with jackets on in the conservatory area, we were a bit concerned! We took a...seat at the back of the conservatory which proved to be a big mistake! There was a terrible draught coming from behind me, I did mention it and was told it was 27c at the middle of the room, but not where we were sitting!! I mentioned it a few times and sat with my shawl scarf on throughout! I pulled down the window blinds hoping that would help, nope!! We ordered our food, I asked about a vegetarian option for my husband, our waitress did say he could a veggie option on the curry and the tempura or risotto, which was helpful! I had to ask what was the soup of the day and also the pate!! I did feel that maybe in this day and age there should have been a small dedicated vegetarian area on the menu, but that’s just my opinion! 3 of our party had starters which were great, Cullen skink, scallops and langoustine tempura, Main courses arrived, 3 fish and chips, one lemon soul and one veggie tempura, all were excellent except for the veggie tempura which was large shards of onion and carrot in an albeit lovely batter, but not all vegetarians like huge chunks of vegetables! 4 of our party had a sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream, which was plentiful! Overall we had a pleasant meal, little or no atmosphere though, one of the younger waitresses (white shirt, black skirt) was friendly and more talkative, the waitress (dressed all in black)who served us was, we all felt a little disinterested and lacked any empathy with the guests! We asked for our bill, the youngest waitress came with the card machine and felt how cold it was only then did she check the windows to find there was one opened, hence the draught, which spoiled our visit because we were felling it cold!! We paid the bill and left a tip on the plate, no one came to say thank you for you custom, or have a nice evening, nothing!! All in all it was pretty inhospitable! Value you for money, it was good for the standard of the food!"
