the local, located in the center of perugia, is a very nice, cozy place and where you can eat well and at good price to be in the center. very kind staff and really good dishes. we decided to order a cutting board (to be divided into 2) and two portions of dumplings to the castrated ragout, ending with a diaper. We'll definitely come back.

very courteous and attentive staff, unfortunately the prices and quality are not at the height of what is required, portions that for the price rasentano the ridiculous, the practically nonexistent truffle, ordered parmigiana and the thoroughly burned bottom, burnt bruschette. good meat but cooked not well, in short there are various things to review.

Cute local, friendly staff and average food. I expected a little more, I took an appetizer, a second and a contour. Nothing exceptional. between one plate and the other there was a little too much waiting, I do not know if due to staff errors or the amount of customers present that evening (although the restaurant was not full). overall a place in the average with nothing special, if I had to choose in the future a place to eat sure I wouldn't come back here, I hope in improvements because the place deserves.

Our evening meal food was good and met our expectations.. However, the occasion was spoilt by a strutting waiter who humiliated a young memeber of staff at our table and embarrassed us by his behaviour. In stead of demonstrating how to open a bottle of wine to this young man he made him try and do it before finally snatching the bottle from him to finally pull the cork. This performance was very lengthy and totally unnecessary. Staff training at this level should be given privately and not in front of customers. Needless to say this puffed up little man made no apology to us and is clearly in need of training himself. We did not return return our stay in Perugia.

A very convenient restaurant for the centre of the old town. Good quality food, with pizza's and pasta dishes along with and excellent choice of local red and white wines by the glass and the bottle. Nice ambience inside on our one rainy evening and initially made to feel welcome. However, service was a little inconsistent. We had four different waiters over just two courses (some good). Our main gripe is the insistence on paying for water. Asked three times for a small glass of tap water to take medication and were finally given an inch in a tiny glass (and charged 2 euros). Pointed this out on payment and they simply lost out on a tip. Well worth a visit, but food and service is better els...

It’s amazing to me that this place gets some mixed reviews on TripAdvisor. Maybe people should stick to its core competency the pasta. La Pasteria is off the main street in Perugia down a little alleyway. We sat outside at lunchtime and the first thirty minutes were wonderfully entertaining as someone in an apartment above the restaurant was playing very loud rock music which multiple members of local businesses attempted to put a stop to via shouting, screaming and hammering on their door.
