"Increible!!!.Los platos de cuchara son espectaculares. Me atrevo a decir que el cocido montañés es uno de los mejores de toda cantabria. Las alubias con venado también. Carta muy variada, la carne es exquisita y los guisos tienen un sabor único. La mano y el cariño que le pone Soledad se nota. Producto de calidad pidas lo que pidas. Los asados tambien muy recomendable y si te gusta la carne, el chuletón es especial por el sabor que tiene la carne y lo tierna que es. Los postres tambien son tema a parte. El flan de queso es una obra de arte y luego está la atención de Alicia, que hace que te sientas como en casa desde el minuto 1. Todo ello acompañado de unas vistas preciosas. Sitio de visita obligada."

"Hacia mucho tiempo que no me escapaba de comida por la zona del Valle de Cabuerniga. Hoy me decidí por Los Tojos, lugar espectacular con sus vistas , eso si hay que armase de ganas y valor para llegar hasta el destino, y subir tras sortear las catorce curvas , algunas de ellas muy pindias, pero desde luego merece la pena. Hoy decidí conocer este restaurante La Montañesa, con una carta digamos justa, pero para que tener mucha variedad? Lo mejor es dar una autentica comida casera bien elavorada. En este caso , y eso que estuve tentado por las alubias con venado, me decidí por una ensalada de la casa de primero, abundante y variada(una ración comen dos), muy buena. De segundo lechazo al horno, sencillamente delicioso acompañado de patatas. Y de postre, huyyyy el postre, tarta de queso al horno, en mi humilde opinión muy buena . OJO!!!! Hay dos tartas de queso , yo recomiendo esta , tarta de queso al horno.."

"You find this restaurant by leaving the A67 at Reinosa and joining the CA-280 towards Cabazon de la Sal, and then you can rejoin the A-8 or the reverse of this . You pass through the Parque Natural Saja-Besaya. A beautiful scenic, twisty-turned road..... Beware of cyclists ! We were not expecting to be able to stop at all, let alone find food, so we were pleasantly surprised when we came across this place on a bend in the road. We asked for a dish with chicken can 't remember what exactly and straight away we were brought some kind of pate, along with some olives with bread. Our meal came and it 's a good thing we only ordered one meal because it was large enough for us both ! There were two huge chicken legs, tomatoes, lettuce, fried eggs ! , and chips. The coffee was nice afterwards too. We ate outside but we could see there was a large restaurant at the back, overlooking a scenic ravine. The toilets were obviously a bit 'lashed together ' and seemingly improved every so often, but they were clean. Although this place was 3 or 4 miles from the nearest village, it was obviously popular, as what must have been locals were popping in all the time we were there. I wouldn 't pick it out in a town with a variety of restaurants, but it met our needs perfectly at the time. I only give it a 3 overall rating because I don 't want to give the impression that it is anything more than a quaint rural restaurant. But we enjoyed it there."

"I'm normally a very tough rater when it comes to restaurants but I have to say we need to extend the rating scale well above 5 for Casa Lucas! It the scale went to ten, it would still score top marks! We had heard about this place from a friend and given a rough map to the middle of the mountains, so it took us a little while to find, but wow were we glad we made the trip!! Everything was absolutely impeccable from the moment we walked in to leaving (feeling like Henry VIII after a birthday banquet! . Between our large party we tried a wide range and couldn't find a single bum dish! The croquettas with wild mushrooms were divine, as was the roast lamb and the mountain bean casserole. Great diversity and quality in their wine list too. The service, like the food, was above and beyond expectations. Irene and Fran make wonderful hosts and are more efficient than a bullet train! I believe this place is family run, well all I can say is this must be one of the most talented families in Cantabria! If you're staying anywhere within a 50 mile radius of Correpoco, you'd be absolutely mad not to go...enjoy! :"

"Pues aterrizamos allí por recomendación de una amiga, ya de principio no nos hemos entendido con la camarera que tenía pinta de algo más, seria y con pocas ganas de explicarnos el menú, tres personas y ninguna la hemos entendido lo que era el relleno de Cabrales, una pena y cuando sale el dichoso relleno ojiplaticas nos hemos quedado........(Para muestra un botón). Menos mal que las alubias, el cocido y los postres y el camarero nuevo han estado exquisitas y correcto"
