this is by far the best balti restaurant withdrawal we know and we have tried a lot! the service is always so good and very friendly staff. Eating is excellent. every dish is unique and everything is very tasty. can not recommend enough. a must try!

I go to this place nearly every week with my freinds, i speak with experience of this type of food i was chef/host for 22 years (Qasims Cheltenham,Frontier Worcester) I appreciate the quality of the food and the service of this establishment the decor a bit bland but very good food and freindly service by all the staff, and guess what? its not that expensive maybe £14 per head? free local parking and no loudmouth beer talk! nice family/couples restaurant, Excellant butter chicken and the lamb chops just the way they should be the sweet lassy for connisuers appreciation,shame there not in Hall green it would be easier for us to walk there,good luck to these guys.

This is an outstanding restaurant. I have been visiting Kashmir Cottage with my family for many years and have never had a bad experience. The food is amongst the best for Indian restaurants in Birmingham and the value for money is exceptional. The quality is not far off the likes of Asha's or Itihaas and is only a fraction of the price. The service from the staff is excellent they are consistently friendly and always happy to accommodate. Although every dish I have tried at Kashmir Cottage has been delicious, I would recommend both the Tandoori Butter Chicken Dry Fry or the Karahi Gosht as two must try dishes (ask them to spice it up or down to your taste they always seem happy to help out)...

Birmingham's Best Lamb Chops!. Yes!! This place is fantastic. I have only ever had home delivery/take away so I can not comment on ambience etc but I feel I am qualified to say the food is great. The cooking has simply gone from strength to strength over the past few months and there have been noticeable improvements in spicing and quality of ingredients. There are lots of great choices here but I can not recommend the lamb chops enough take my advice and get a main size. The naan are delicious and the butter chicken is a rich, creamy indulgence without the weird (to an Australian palate) addition of peppers or a lot of chopped onions.
