"Amazing food, even better service. Visited this restaurant for my dad’s birthday, along with 8 of my family. The restaurant was very busy, and it was only a Tuesday evening (which I think is usually a good sign). 2 of the party were small children, one with allergies to oats, milk, soy etc. Our waitress Maria had complete knowledge of the menu and went out of her way to organise vegan ingredients (without oats) were purchased from a store nearby so my nephew could enjoy a meal (and the 2.5 year old ate his entire pizza). This was just one display of how brilliant Maria was. She was quick to organise our tables drinks and deliver them, gave us time to explore the menu and took our orders in perfect time, there wasn’t a single moment we felt rushed or forgotten, exemplary service and intuition from Maria. I can’t remember the last time I received such perfect service from start to finish. She has great humour, is smiley, happy, approachable and knowledgeable, a total asset to the restaurant. The other waitress and mixologist/bar man were also entirely lovely and gave great service (didn’t catch their names). The food was delicious, good portion sizes, lovely and flavoursome and it’s clear a lot of love and time goes into making, designing and presenting the dishes. Really great Italian menu, which has options for everyone, and doesn’t overdo it with a silly amount of linguine and pasta choices (just the right amount of diverse options). Atmosphere is great too, and upstairs and a downstairs, with decor that feels very authentically Italian, and music playing at the right volume (which is where so many go wrong, when it’s so loud you can’t have conversations). It’s a must visit, can’t wait to go back! The best customer service and incredible food! Couldn’t fault a single thing!"

"Great meal in a quirky and atmospheric setting. Highly recommended. My wife and I went for lunch today (Saturday). I had 2 oysters to start, delicious and served with green Tabasco which is unusual. For mains I had bouillabaisse which was packed with a variety of seafood and had a good hit of chilli, really lovely. My wife had the whole lobster from the specials, decent price at £40 and she was more than happy! Service was friendly and efficient despite it being very busy and them being 2 members down. Will definitely go again!"

"I was fortunate enough to enjoy another fantastic meal at The Gourmet Dining Room last night. The experience was flawless from beginning to end. The standout dish for me was the amuse bouche, a cheese and onion tart. I absolutely loved it - the pastry was buttery and crumbly, and it was bursting with cheesy flavor. The meal started with warm bread and butter, followed by the cheese and onion tart, a tomato salad with tomato gel and Caesar dressing, halibut with a delicious tuile, tender beef with smoked cauliflower puree, a tropical fruit palate cleanser, and a trio of chocolate. I was so impressed by the food that I forgot to take a photo before digging in! As a bonus, they also give you a little gift to take home, which I believe was a flapjack. The atmosphere was delightful and lively, and the service was excellent. You can bring your own drinks, but glassware is provided. Thank you, Michael and Toni, for a wonderful dining experience!"

"Dreambakes staff are very welcoming and was nice to see that most menu options had a vegan alternative. I had a heel milk flat white, was great to see that they use local specialties coffee like darkwoods from huddersfield and they showed know in making the coffee. beautiful latte art. for my meal I had a sharp cheese toastia on acidity. the alternative to make this vegan was the usual cheese they use to replace a smokey one. very well present with extras such as salad leaf, Slav and craps. I felt that she would be in the toastia a little on the replacement side and not really smiling, could taste the smoke through the cheese I loved. I don't know why, but if the venue is fully vegan, I don't always trust items like pasta, as it came to my children's plates, who had ham sandwiches. overall I was satisfied. I also say that they made a few vegan cakes like a banoffeee shortcake and choco concrete. also nice to see, they sell the coffee beans and have guests coffee. it is great to see more vegan friendly places in doncaster"

"exceptional restaurant, eating is well presented, seasoned and paired. all lamb and bark dishes are perfectly cooked, only melt in mouth. the seafoods were all cooked for perfection, such a joy with calamari, which was not as gum and the garnish dish that I had was amazing. the price is more than reasonable, the beverage selection is extensive and includes traditional Spanish refreshments. the employees have the same weight down, do not make them uncomfortable by making every two minutes, but never make them feel without service or waiting for a drink."
