"I have just had a very disappointing take away meal (for the second time in a month). On both occasions I turned up early for the food and specifically asked if it had just come from the kitchen. On both occasions the food was luke warm to cold. Additionally the prices have risen by over 30% in just over 2 years. I know we have had a period of inflation but this is ridiculous! They famously only take cash but our local ATM was out of order this evening. When I said I was about £5 short and would bring them the cash tomorrow, they miraculously produced a card machine… I would avoid Jade Garden in Stow unless and until they get their act together!"

We had a takeaway from here during a stay in Stow, everything was freshly cooked and delicious. Excellent, prompt service also. Would recommend.

I always look forward to the flawless tasty eating of the jade gardens; it is not disappointed in over 8 years! the staff is very friendly and very efficient.

The food at Jade Garden is excellent and the service is always friendly with a smile. I love Chinese food and this restaurant is the best. Connie has mesmerizing eyes and Yen always has a great smile.

Never have I eaten something so bland and disgusting from a takeaway. Lamb chewy and inedible, crispy chilli beef, what beef?! Prawn crackers, I’ve had better from a packet at a supermarket! Will never return. £40 in the bin

we came to an evening to order a takeaway and were greeted by a wonderful young woman who took our order, who makes greeting all the different. we returned in half an hour to collect our order and were satisfied with it and felt it was all delicious and hot, well cooked and delicious. only cash.

The food was good, prepared quickly, offered at fair prices, with friendly staff. The dishes were hot upon pick-up. However, if you are used to exceptional Chinese cuisine, you may find the food underwhelming, like we did. Overall, there was nothing wrong with the food or service, but it didn't stand out either.

We used to frequently order takeout from this place and it was always fantastic. However, it had been a while since our last visit, but we decided to get takeout tonight and unfortunately, it was terrible. The spring rolls had a strong taste of old oil, the meat was chewy and unpleasant, and the sauces were bland and tasted like plain soup.

We are accustomed to Chinese take outs and this was the worst experience ever. The only reasonable dish was sweet and sour chicken which was mediocre. The others were awful, particularly the so called ribs with salt which were small bony pieces with hardly any meat coated in some some of batter to make them look more substantial. Not only was the meal awful it was expensive. There are much better places in Stow to get take out.
