one of the best meals I had in a long time. we celebrated my man birthday we could not ask for more

last night we had a first-class meal served by a very friendly, helpful team. could not have been better. highly recommended.

a great little pub right at the a1. the village is small and old. the food is prepared there and is well presented and delicious. I'd say that it's right. worth a visit.

very nice pub/inn we had just a nice meal. the staff are courtesy friendly attentive without being over the top when they know what I mean. eating is a very high standard. my mother enjoyed her birthday so many thanks.

I went with my wife, son, Mum and Dad for my 41st. All 5 of us enjoyed the food and drink. The pub itself is periodic and contains a charm fitting for the beautiful county it is in. The menu is short because of the dishes are made on site. I had soup to start, followed by a roast with huge Yorkshire pudding and plenty of veg to share with the table and nice desert and coffee. Cannot fault it and will return.

Nothing quite like it really. A very, very good restaurant set in an old country house/pub with small rooms with four to five tables each. Fireplaces in most of them, and a very cozy atmosphere. You are greeted in the bar area as you first go in, and then you are taken to your table. Very professional and caring staff, food was incredible. Prices are amazing for what you get, and it's definetly worth booking in advance. Voir le carte
