Omg I love this place! Great comfort food and a great atmosphere. Possibly the best potato salad ever.

Delicious food in massive portions. Ira is a whirlwind of energy and conversation and made us feel like we were guests in her own home. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Possibly the best sandwiches in Yorkshire

Excellent on all counts! The food was very flavoursome. Since seeing Ira's website we've been hankering to try the menu and we weren't disappointed. Ira is a force of nature and all the staff too very friendly and efficient. Can't praise it enough. We wish we lived closer as the atmosphere is fun and relaxing. Will find more excuses to head towards Leeds xxx

Great food, staff and atmosphere. Made to feel welcome were given great table service where they even explained the menu. Great story behind the owner. Only knocked a star of as service missed a couple of things and had to be reminded but you could see it was because they were busy and it didn't effect the experience as a whole. If the food is as good when we go again I'll add the other star.

my sandwich was full sized and also served with pickles and latkes, this time mayo instead of save. it tasted like what I would imagine, a mcchicken mayo would taste as if it were right what they imagined it tastes as if they were on the massive plakat walls, then are bitter disappointed when it tastes of papp fat. that was nothing. I called out loud, who ever thought of putting a pickle in a fried chicken sandwich is a jenny. I'm begging you ira b.

Every time I come here, we'll be greeted by ira. the food is great, and the service is second to none. at the last visit we took our daughters (104) ira recommended that our eldest would try the snitzel in contrast to the normal chicken bugs, as it would be more filling. after she had burned it down, ira asked if my daughter had still hunger. she was, so ira made another carving free. it is this type of personal service and warmth that ira b is the best place to eat in north leeds.

Every time I visit this restaurant, I am always greeted by Ira. The food is excellent and the service is top-notch. During our last visit, we brought our daughters along. Ira suggested that our eldest try the scavenger dish instead of the usual chicken nuggets, as it would be more filling. After she finished her meal, Ira asked if she was still hungry. When she said yes, Ira made her another dish for free. It is this kind of personalized service and hospitality that makes Ira B the best dining spot in North Leeds.

Wow, was it worth it! The place was packed with a real buzz about it. The food was gorgeous, the owner Ira is a character and we had a real laugh with her. She has one of those signs that used to be in old swimming baths- no diving, no petting etc and on seeing a young couple holding hands she showed them the sign and had the whole restaurant laughing as she bantered with them about it. They have quirky circular menus which we loved, the food was absolutely gorgeous, we had chicken schnitzel, salt beef, latkes, fish and chicken soup, then New York cheesecake with rum and raisin ice cream, which I hadn't intended having any, but was so yummy I ended up fighting for half of.
