"After the good experiences last year we returned to Il Monastero with friends. A restoration located at the edge of the Old Town of Bielefeld with some outdoor spaces and usually comfortable furniture in the interior. We had reserved and were very surprised that we were still squeezed into a corner, next to a wardrobe and a side entrance. Restoration was very well attended, the volume level too high to be able to maintain itself to fourth in normal volume. It was also extremely warm and the air was a touch of nitrogenous. Given the segment in which this restoration sees itself, it is clearly unacceptable. The drinks ordered came very timely, the appetizers after a reasonable time. The main courts were waiting for some time. 1 main court was incorrectly received and accordingly delivered incorrectly. It then took some time until this was courted together with another missing court. Here too, given the placement of the restoration, the expectation is that the dishes are brought at the same time. At the ordered dishes, pasta dishes, pizza, Saltimbocca as well as another dish there was nothing to expose, these were well prepared and seasoned."

Das Restaurant hat während des Abendmarkts auch eine "Filiale" direkt auf dem Klosterplatz. Hier werden jedoch ausschließlich Getränke ausgeschenkt.

this is a very special spot for high quality Italian food in bielefeld. easy from the beaten stretch, it is still close enough to the city. the service was polite and quick in the night we visited. our pizzas were delicious!

Haben mit Freunden schön draußen gesessen uns es uns gut gehen lassen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, wir hatten hauptsächlich Vorspeisen und Pizza. Die Bedienung war freundlich, am späteren Abend war es manchmal nicht so leicht, deren Aufmerksamkeit zu bekommen, aber das stört in entspannter Runde nicht groß...

Unser Besuch im il monastero fing gut an. Es war mäßig voll und man zeigte uns schnell unseren Tisch. Der Kellner wirkte leicht ungeduldig und erst auf zweifache Nachfrage wurde ein Wein empfohlen.. die antipasti della Casa waren extrem gut! Wirklich das Highlight des Abends. Wein war sehr lecker und im Nachhinein eine gute Empfehlung. Die Hauptspeisen waren okay. Das Rinderfilet in rotweinsauce konnte zumindest vom Fleisch her überzeugen. Die Sauce war schmackhaft aber leider angedickt.. Gemüse und Kartoffeln wirkten wie Beiwerk.. die übrigen Hauptgerichte waren gut (Pasta mit safransauce und saltimbocca). Beim bezahlen ging das Chaos los was den Abend im Nachhinein einen Dämpfer verpasst.....
