hard, tasteless pizza. very salty lasagne, informed by manager that so some customers like it. service fee automatically added for what?

I had the three colori salad and the spaghetti napoli. They were both absolutely excellent and so was the service. I would expect such a place to be higher up in the tripadvisor rating.

for years we have arrived here, and this place is always living on its expectation. had a great dinner last night. the owner rogero is quite chatting and our ordinary server darshna always takes care of us .. what not. to be liked. Voir le carte

An old-fashioned decoration is not the greatest visiting card of most establishments, and ‘Il Fornello’ is no exception. Moreover, the staff is rather unfriendly, not to mention the terrible quality of both the ingredients and the food.

last night we had a special night in restaurant il fornello , first it looked close it was late at night, but happy we find that this beautiful Italian restaurant we were ending with a few Italian focaccia bier and some good Italian music. super. very good eating and very nice environment right things!

This was our return visit after a few years. First time good, friendly service but not very good food. This time, because it offered omelette for my husband at dinnertime and it was close to our hotel, we tried it again. Service was poor, slow...and not cheery as before. My fish would have been fine except for the tomato sauce covering it. So again it hadn't improved in our view. Good if desparate for an omelette or nowhere else appeals. Voir le carte

Called in for a meal at 6 pm there was only one out he person in. My pizza was ok at best, my wife wanted canolloni, none left. She had a calazoni pizza instead, it was very bland and came with half a plate of...salad leaves. Once served nobody came to ask if everything was ok or if we wanted any dressing or pepper. When I complained I was told the salad was for decoration and not for eating. When the bill cane they had the cheek to add a service charge. When I told him I wasn’t paying that he never apologised and muttered something under his breath. Only eat here if you want to throw your money away.

Worst Italian food I've ever eaten in this dark, narrow space. The so-called eggplant parmesan arrived swimming in what looked like a can of tomato sauce, with squiggles of cheese floating around. The cheese was partially melted but not enough to provide a nice cheese crust. The artichoke-peppers lukewarm pizza arrived with bits of what looked like frozen broccoli and unchopped olives (straight out of the can). When we asked about the artichokes other veggies, the pizza was taken away returned w/ bits of rocket on the top. We were very tempted to leave, but it was already late. When I arrived.Tuesday evening,what I really noticed was a lot of Italian spoken by the restaurant patrons a very good sign, a restaurant for Italians run but London Italians.Just what you need after work. Everyday dining that everyone would enjoy unpretentious bench seating, welcoming host,...surroundings good, food just what Mama would cook. Looking for good food and good service.Support these lovely people running a good honest Italian eatery in the midst of Bloomsbury. Pizza quattro formaggi looked to die for.
