"Visited here with German friends who are locals. The walk up to the restaurant on a sunny night was great. The local German band were practising in the bandstand which just added to the evening. On arrival greeted by Edith who was very friendly charming and hardworking. Ordered Schnitzel and it was fabulous. Beer and schnapps were great also. Enjoyed our evening so much went back a further two times during our stay.Well worth a visit and will return next time we are in the area."

"My wife and I stopped in to Kallex after reading the positive reviews on TA. We were a little skeptical after hearing consecutive songs of bad house music on the hi-fi but remained open-minded and are glad we did. Beer selection was solid, food was great and well-portioned - I ordered the spicy currywurst, my wife had a burger - the prices were very reasonable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. What else could you ask for? Stop in when you're in Neustadt. You won't regret it."

"Reception was very nice! Room spacious and clean! In the evening in the bar before the night dinner 1 service specialist for all guests, long waiting times with us it was not possible (6 people) to take a joint apero together. During the booking, gluten and lactose allergies as well as the menu selection were specified, which we had to pay in writing on arrival and the allergies listed explicitly again, the gluten-free bread had to be ordered as breakfast especially. (time 20 minutes) The staff was not informed that the special bread had to be asked at breakfast, was the head of the buffet and also gave the answer first to see if it has gluten-free bread. I wouldn't say anything if it wasn't reported 2x in advance. The bread is frozen (usually with gluten-free bread it came every time hot in plastic packed at the table. During breakfast, the bread was so sticky when I took the bread from the hot plastic bag with my fingers, which I had to eat with knives and forks. What annoyed me at MEISTEN, my husband and my friends were already ready with the appetizers and also the breakfast was already finished to a large extent until my bread was delivered. They are already punished enough to live with such allergies and in a 4-star hotel where it was reported 2x in writing and then in plastic hot and sticky, does not speak for hospitality. When I was home, I wrote an email and expressed my concern about allergies. It's a pity that you haven't received any feedback after 8 days. So let me write these lines on this platform!"

"We found the place through the Schlemmerblock and wanted to try it out. As a different evaluation has written - from the outside we have considered whether we want to get in there. "We were at Hotel Schwörer in mid-December. The arrival at the hotel was possible from 2 a.m., only unfortunately no one on site. Half an hour later we met the cook of the house, who knew nothing and had to call. After another fifteen minutes we received a key for a room without further information. A pre-booked arrangement for the birthday was complete, you knew nothing, very bad. The rooms are very bright, another guest of the night went about two half showers to make sure our night rest was interrupted early. Bed sheets are sewn and not exchanged, I had two unsightly seams on the lying surface. We received the Black Forest Card by e-mail on the day of our departure. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast buffet is sufficient and varied. It was also a shame that the restaurant was closed spontaneously and the website did not mention it. Then it was only surprising that in the evening a Japanese sports delegation was hosted in the restaurant and we had seen it as a guest of the house. We couldn't say anything about demand. Centrally located hotel, with many destinations that are easily accessible, but only by car."
