"My husband and I ate dinner here one night while staying in Anif. There aren't many dining options in this small village, and we didn't feel like going into Salzburg after a long day of sight seeing. We were seated in an outdoor courtyard (for some reason they said they weren't seating inside that night.) It was quite rustic outdoors, with wood picnic style tables and wood chairs. The downer was it was literally right next door to a barn with plenty of barnyard smells. And flies!Thankfully our meal was good, but it just would have been so much nicer without the flies and cow smells. I had the pork steak (pork chop) which was very good. It came with potatoes and I forget what else. Service was friendly too. We would have preferred eating inside, considering the smells and flies though."

This is a very nice and cosy Austrian restaurant. Friendly service, good food, open till late night and friendly around the clock.

We ate here on a Sunday night, there was a reasonable crowd in. Service was excellent and efficient. I had a great steak and my wife had tips of beef with tagliatelle which was very tasty. Prices were reasonable.

typical frame. local clientele. welcomed by the patron, very aristocratic, worthy heir to a line whose predecessors have the honour of a photo in the room. Careful service. excellent wines. kitchen too typical for our taste (boiled meat, it goes wrong!) nice bar, with nice cigar cellar.

very pleasant location, kind waiters and services and typical Austrian food. paprika soup with prezel to start, white monk würstel and peppers filled with goat cheese and ratatouille. sweet .pancake with guinness ice cream and hot tortine with berries, 2 big beers ... all for €48 , very good and very honest

that should be the least price for the restaurants of the hotel, but the portions are small and the menu is very limited and slightly strange. good for a beer and brezel, but not a good example of the Austrian gas farm or brewery tariff. no chin, no goulash, no grindbow. many local drink, but above all because this part of anif has few drinking places.

First time around, we sat outside and had a couple of local beers, ate radishes and frankfurters. What a way to start our Austrian stay!!!!Ended up having dinner there two nights in our four night stay in Anif, and we really enjoyed both. All our dishes were prepared very well, beer menu is extensive (you can get Czech Budweiser on tap) and we enjoyed wines by the glass.Servers all were fantastic, too.

to stay at an air bnb in anif and tried this local food impressive. we had not booked, but were early, so they were in a position to fit us around 5.30 to be lovely before 7.30. wood paneling, open fire, tables on different levels....Prompt friendly service. we ordered suppen a pumpkin and a chicken noodle, both really good and a smoked salmon cake for beginners for the net we had the cattle burger, bratwurst and bark fillt and noodle. a local pilsner and a sauvignon from the steiermark were very good. the whole experience was wonderful. will be leaving.
