Stopped by at the cafe at the end of the hike from Pfingstegg. Basic selection of bakery items, reasonable selection of wines and beer. Good for a quick stop

I really liked that this restaurant had a wholefood plant based daily dish. But for my taste the dish was too oily. I wish I could give a star more because everything else was Great, but the food is the main criteria for me.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, ob mit dem essen oder dem personal. Auf das essen mussten wir nicht lange warten und es hat super lecker geschmeckt. Es ist auch nicht überrissen teuer. Das ambiente idt sehr urchig und total gemütlich. Wir würden wieder hier essen.

Had the Currywurst with Fries. It was an amazing experience. The salad was very fresh, the fries crispy, with a bit of cayenne, which was absolutely perfect. The sausage was made out of local meat and the texture it has was so likeable and as someone living in Germany, quite enjoyed it. A great birthday meal overall. The espresso was good as well! A magical place to resource connect with nature! Me a friend had the best time at the Gasthouse! We felt at home, very welcomed by the host! Andrea is so kind and thoughtful light! Wir möchten nicht viel Zeit für dieses Lokal verlieren.Wir waren noch am essen der faden Suppe als der Hauptgang serviert wurde, trotz unserer Bemerkung "wir haben keine Eile"Das darf nicht geschehen!!! Fleisch zäh und Sehnen durchzogen, Sauce schmeckt wie eine normale Bratensauce, Rotkraut ohne Geschmack, eine einzige Maroni ebenfalls ohne Geschmack, Spätzli versalzen und mit Trockenkräutern übersäht, ein Teller mit nur zwei Pilzen.Nach Reklamation keine Regung und anstelle Entschuldigung, Ausreden.Wir haben unser Essen abgebrochen, keine Nachspeise und keinen Kaffee bestellt.

The restaurant is in a lovely location, right next to the entrance to the gorge and overlooking the valley. Lovely breeze on the terrace, sufficient umbrellas so people didn't have to sit in the direct sun. That said, I was really disappointed in my poulet (chicken) burger. I'm not sure what I expected but not a large slab like a round of ham of compressed ground up chicken with a lot of fat. It was palatable only because of the bun, lettuce, tomato, pickle and lots of catsup. I felt afterwards like I'd eaten a lot of grease with very little chicken flavor.
