"Um es Vorneweg zu sagen: Grindelwald ist wunderschön und man kann sehr viel unternehmen - auch mit Familie. Nach genau solch einem Tag mit tollen Aktivitäten (Kinderwanderung Liselotte Weg ) freuten wir uns auf ein gemütliches Abendessen im CuM. Leider war die Enttäuschung gross, denn das Essen war mittelmässig und der Preis viel zu hoch. Das ist reine Geldmacherei!Positiv hervorzuheben war die Bedienung, die sich wirklich um und bemühte.Wer lediglich einen Apero auf der tollen Terrasse einnehmen will, ist hier richtig - aber für ein Abendessen stimmt das Preis Leistung Verhältnis nicht!"

"My partner and I mean, this is the best food we've ever eaten. It was dinner, evening entertainment and art in one. Each course was an amazing pleasure, the ambience and the views were beautiful and the staff was beautiful. We had the five course menu and were pretty crowded in the end. In addition to the five courses there was a tiny soup, some complex canapés, bread with cheese, fresh dress, basil and vegan butter and sweets; and we were told we could have more bread if we wanted. The restaurant offers only two options for dinner, vegan or not. I noticed three tables of Diners around me, all omni people, but over 50% of the guests chose the vegan food. Most free courses and the desserts were all the same (so, vegan) except accompaniments for bread. Cudes to the chefs to encourage people to eat vegan food. Our meal and paired wine were CHF 200 per person. For us this is a great amount of money and a very rare treatment, but we felt that it was an excellent value for money, especially given the obvious amount of work and quality of ingredients."

"we went out of our way to find this caffe after reviews on tripadvisor. when someone said it was a steep hill from the city, they said it (and we are hikers). So if they have problems to foot, they simply take the bus. it is definitiw. the journey worth it. it's nice to get out of town and get away from the crowds. the prices are reasonable. if this caffe is somewhere near me, I would go all the time."

"Wir waren nicht in Hotel Aspen aber beabsichtigten eine Woche im März 2021 dort zu verbringen. Weil ich ein bisschen lärmempfindlich bin habe ich im Hotel angefragt bezüglich einem besonders ruhigen Zimmer obere Etagen nicht beim Aufzug und so. Als Antwort erhielt ich den Hinweis ich soll doch auf der Webseite das gewünschte Zimmer buchen. Dort gibt es aber leider keine Möglichkeit etwas über die Lage heraus zu finden. Ich habe dies dem Hotel mitgeteilt dass mir das nicht hilft wegen meinem Wunsch nach einem besonders ruhigen Zimmer und ich dann gar nicht anfragen müsste. Leider fand es das Hotel nicht nötig mir eine Antwort zu schreiben geschweige denn ein Angebot zu machen. Scheinbar geht es denen trotz Corona immer noch zu gut. Kein Wunder machen Schweizer lieber in Österreich oder im Südtirol Urlaub, vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mal abgesehen... Schade!"

"an optically attractive small space in a relatiw powerful hotel, hilty stubli seems to suffer from a confusion of the for the purpose. the hotel has a much larger dining room close to, which is more neutral decorated while this next room is furnished to have a traditional style of house...chalet look, but the menus are (we believe) the same. this Swiss room has a menu with a very large selection of options as well as a completely separate pan-Asian restaurant that is provided to them with the main menu. this Asian menu has small selection of Chinese, Indonesian, Indian, Vietnamese, Thai, etc., which creates a confusion with the theme of decorating the room. is this a restaurant that specializes in excellent Swiss cuisine or a Swiss restaurant that cares in every variety of food? that said the quality of the food we had was quite good. first, the ingredients used were of good quality, the presentation of the dishes was thoughtful and the service was professional and yet friendly (although they all ran over quite vivid). How was the taste? one of us had the homemade pasta with local cheese, friend wobble and small kartoffel think imaginative mac and cheese and it was fantastic. very tastefully and appetizingly presented, it also came with a beside dish of seasoned preserved apple slices, which seemed a strange pairing, but connected to the pasta to create a unique taste. highly recommended. the other of us had a cheese fondue that was appropriate. served with traditional steamed potato and brot, it lacked taste (to be fair, this was the mild version in contrast to the spicy version, but the cheese itself should have a remarkable taste). a solid fondue, but no reason to come into this restaurant. we have pointed out to the other dishes from the kitchen, and they routinely looked to be of high quality, including, yes, even those outside the square Asian. these, as with those we had, were also all generous size, so filling. Also note that the serviera was slow, what the menu itself lets them know in advance that everything is only done from the job, and so give them time to enjoy a drink while waiting for the food. so would be that this is a solid restaurant with a menu with something for everyone, but a confusing mix of Swiss and non-Swiss."
