"I came this time together with a colleague after klingenthal. for dinner we had chosen a restaurant in the direct neighbourhood of our hotel. no real greeting was made when entering, since the service was standing behind the step on a ladder and stained glasses into the upper area. while the colleague was still smoking outside, I was looking for a table and took a place. now the operation came from the ladder, took a menu and only wanted to bring two cards to me when I signaled them. she then came up with two cards on the table, now welcomed me right and then also the colleague who came at this moment. then the question was whether we already wish a drink. we quickly answered with the question what delicious beer is in the offer. “Wernesgrüner pils und kapuziner Weißbier” was the answer. the colleague ordered a pilger and I a white beer. they were served while we were still studying the map. the menu had the season card in the first plastic bag, so in this case the spatula card. behind it followed vogtland cuisine, carving, steaks and 4 or 5 fish dishes and some vegetarians. the prices were even under 15, € for the steaks, everything else was even cheaper. Unfortunately, on the homepage of the restaurant only part of the menu can be seen, namely the one with vogtland cuisine: [her Link] during the college ordered a then recurring normal carving, I decided for the day's offer that I had already seen in the houseflor on a stand: economically with carving and carrots can be clearly heard from 13.50 € the tables have plates with resopal surfaces, on them light green table runners with embroidered names of the house. a glass vase with two blossoms, salt and pepper shakers, sugar can and a tealight in the glass. the walls are with a white structure plaster, the hanging lamps over the tables are trimmed on old with parts made of wood and forged iron. we were blown by radio music in more than just background loudness. we probably felt so loud, because we were the only guests at 18:00 and there was no loudness. after one of the fresh preparation adequate waiting time of the service brought the teller with our eating and wished “good appetite”. both carvings had a decent size, looked good and were clear hot. the pommes fries on the teller of my colleague looked good and were obviously freshly prepared while my kartoffeln had some already some dry places. the three bars sparingly, although of large diameter, appeared to me somewhat scarce for this part, but were cooked on the spot and correspondingly well tasted. the sauce hollandaise for it was very good and I thought already prepared for me, but the service then added later in the conversation that it was comfort. which was not suitable for both tellers at all, was the salad from nudelsalat! . Conclusion: in principle delicious eating with weak points. the environment is typical and appropriate, the performance of the service is perfect. in the overall view, but only in the middle field."

"We've discovered the old drugstore while passing and we've decided to go to dinner there. Some acquaintances told how satisfied they were there they were curious. The parking lot on the opposite side of the street offers space for 5 cars. The menu is clearly kept, but everyone will find something here. We chose Schnitzel Bruschetta and Gans and, as so often, shared both foods to taste everything. Both dishes have convinced us completely. The cook really has something on it. The prices are not just cheap, but appropriate for the quality of food and the type of presentation. We like to come back."

"At noon I was back in Klingenthal and was looking for the small Asian restaurant, which I remembered from my last visit two years ago. The name remained, the painted columns and the bronze lions on both sides of the entrance clearly emphasize the kitchen direction offered here. When I entered, I saw that the tables were all occupied next to the vault on the right side, at the vault there were still two people who wanted to pick up food. So I turned to the left and looked for a table in the empty guest room there. Operation No staff could be seen when entering, but after a few minutes the service, an Asian middle age, came to my table, greeted me and served me the menu. While I looked at the offer, she supplied the food pickups, who had sometimes sat at the tables and now gradually left the place. She was friendly and attentive throughout my stay at the restaurant, as the only service she had not particularly full place well under control. Food The offer includes the usual dishes of German-speaking Chinese cuisine, with a total of more than 20 very inexpensive lunch menus, each of which includes a Beijing soup or a spring roll. Furthermore, some soups are on offer, of which I had not heard anything yet, most of them just for 2,00 €. Finally I ordered the Menu M 13, “Crispy chicken meat to Hong Kong type with sharp sauce” (5,00 € with a spring roll. In addition, a “San Sin soup with shrimp, ham, chicken meat and vegetables” (2,00 €) and a mineral water (0,2l for 1,60 €. As often as with the Asian soups, the broth was taste-poor, so the inlays were well appreciated with their own taste. Even before I had eaten the soup, the spring roll was served, which was obviously self-made. The filling proved to be a good mixture of bean sprouts, cabbage strips and minced meat and was quite tasty. After all, I got the main court. A panned chicken breast, cut into strips, lay on a heap of vegetables. In separate bowls came the rice and the so-called sharp sauce, which, although clearly tasted for garlic, was anything but sharp. Otherwise, the food was quite tasty and also qualitatively fine, the portion would have been good even without the extra soup. Ambience The furniture is made of dark wood with red seat cushions, the walls are soft green. Sets of plastic with Asian motifs were placed on the tables in front of each place, with a memento with salt, pepper, soy sauce, vinegar and Sambal Oelek and one or two food warmers. The floor is covered with parquet in cube shape, on the walls some large-format images hang in partly very massive wooden frames with golden ornaments. Some Chinese lampions and carved lamps hang on the ceiling and spread sufficient brightness. Cleanliness The restaurant was clean and well maintained, even with glasses, plates and cutlery there was no reason to complain. The toilet in the back of the building is not quite easy to find, but has been modernized since my last visit and was perfectly clean."

"Like a few times before, I had relocated to this hotel. In the evening I had no desire to go big and decided to eat at the hotel's restaurant, which I had a good memory of delicious local cuisine from previous visits. When entering the little occupied place, I was greeted relatively friendly by an employee behind the counter, but there was no table assignment. So I sought a free table between numerous “reserved” signs and took place. After a walk with drinks to another table, the young man came to me and gave me the menu. On his question about my drink request, I asked for a dark beer, but he told me that this is not currently in the touch and he could only offer me a black beer from the bottle. During my entire presence in the restaurant, his appearance, as with previous visits in this house, was always friendly and accommodating. He also had a good look at the now well-stocked restaurant, and there were no significant waiting times. Food The offer of the house includes petty-bourgeois cuisine as well as original vogtland dishes, which are mostly only offered at lunchtime (other than previous visits. Unfortunately, the map is not on the restaurant's homepage. The two dishes of the Vogtland cuisine on the evening pass did not irritate me, I decided to bake for “big medallions with cheese, with fries and salad set” (12,40 €). So it became a kernel black beer from the bottle (0,5l for 3,00 € . The beer was served shortly afterwards, a little later the waiter brought cutlery and napkin. After a waiting period appropriate to the well-stocked restaurant, the waiter brought the plate with my food. Three beautiful pork medallions were well gratined with cheese, along with one serving of fries and also a supplement salad. It consisted of a few fresh ingredients, but mostly inlaid. The fries were fresh, hot and crispy, the meat tender and tasty. The size of the portion was completely sufficient for my appetite. So far everything was in order, regrettably just that the Western (Wild courts with the typical clubs were not available in the evening. Ambience The decor is rustic, but the wooden tone is mostly bright oak. In part, the walls were covered high in this type of wood. The chairs had seat and back cushions, which were covered with bright, patterned fabric. On the tables there was only one middle blanket in Karmesinrot, on which there was a small porcelain vase with a flower, along with salt and pepper mills. Cleanliness The guest room was well maintained and clean, even with glasses, plates and cutlery there was no reason to complain. I didn't visit the toilet."
