Honey Bee - Menu

Was very disappointed as all the team that had pushed to make the Bee a local pub again have gone. I found it very upsetting and many other customers feel the same.

Perfect spot out for anyone. Staff are very pleasant, food is really tasty, well priced and mostly made in house. No cost cutting here that you see in most other places. Place has a really welcoming vibe and often has events on.

Lovely place for a family dinner, staff are lovely and they are very welcoming. What a lovely place to go for a family night. Food and drink price is so reasonable and yummy. I would love to come back for a visit. Good job you guys are fantastic Xx

Well came in for the Quiz.. big Wood doing the quiz has made such a massive difference to the old mundane quiz of a few months ago . Never laughed so much and to see all the hard work has paid off is a credit to the man. Well done wood and your team for sticking with it and bringing a lot more from the community back into the Honeybee

Mumsie, wifey I had a table reserved on a Saturday night. We turned up 5 minutes early. Had difficulty in getting anyone to serve us and were told to sit at a certain table but could sit anywhere if we wanted but we’re also told there was a 40 minute wait for food as a table of 14 had come in before us. If we’d have been there 5 minutes sooner we’d have gotten served before them ! With experience of this restaurant 40 minutes can be 2 hours plus without them even starting your order ! We left and had a delicious meal at The Bugle Horn instead

OmG well where do i start,from the minute we arrived the welcome was very warm friendly,child friendly and we have a child with a,d,h,d chloe (assistant manager) woody the big boss were great the service was great the food is worth every penny,also as a parent of a child with very serious allergens they catered for literally everything and we felt as parents we could eat and relax.the bar staff are friendly chatty but not over chatty which is nice.id recommend this plaice over and over and over again.they say you get what you pay for but here giys you get a bit more in my opinion.we will deffo be coming back regularly as we can relax with one child being a,d,h,d and the other with allergens...

I booked a table but when there told go and sit any where and we did not have to book so why does it say on line to book a table??? We found a table BUT when I went to sit down one of the chairs had a big black stain on it, it should of been removed or cleaned. Had to go to bar to order and pay then had a really long wait for food to arrive yet hardly any people there. Meal came more then piping hot and so hot could not pick up the jug of gravy. The pie was so hard on the top I could NOT cut it and just scooped out the insides of it. Went back to bar to order desert but was told NO DESSERTS. Absolutely terrible experience. Not informed there was a 40 minute wait for food when ordering. We had to order alternative to what we wanted from the menu as they had no baguettes. Forty minutes after ordering we were informed one of the orders would be incomplete with ingredient. We complained that we had not been informed of the wait, resulting in a very inappropriate assistant manager (Chloe) arguing we had been informed. We asked her to check the bar CCTV to verify this. We requested the incomplete offering be cancelled and reminder of the order be fulfilled. Only a Childrens meal was produced leaving adult meal outstanding. They exceeded again, been an advocate of the pub for ages and they have gone through some troubled times with a lot of change in staff and management , we went in for Sunday lunch today and despite having a christening party and a number of other tables booked, our food came out quickly and they only had 1 chef) and was perfect , the turkey roast was to die for, my son said the ultimate burger was the best he has had and the bbq cauliflower wing salad was amazing huge compliments to the chef . The new gm and assistant manager are brilliant dead set on getting things back on track and don’t take any rubbish one customer complaining as he does weekly for free food , was shot down straight away...
