"Took my family here, after hearing good things about the food chef at this place.. but more importantly the variety of food on offer so would carter for me my family.. and the place didn’t disappoint one bit.. now I can understand what the hype is actually about.. everything that was placed on our table was cooked and prepared with care.. whilst everything tasted amazing, the curry that one of my children had was amazing… !!!! When looking online for the menu I did see the harrow inn do a curry night,one day in the week,so you can sample different types of curry.. this, I have got to attend.. because if what we had today was anything to go by.. it’s got to be amazing.. My steak was mouth watering and cooked to perfection.. while the burger we had not might sort of meal) is something I will also try next time I’m here due to how tasty that look too.. I understand it’s under new management and with food like this coming out the kitchen can only assume they will be there for a while ! keep this standard and you can’t fail The staff were very welcoming and made me and my family feel very welcome.. keep up the good work, will see you agin next time I’m passing your village,for sure"

"Visited Saturday afternoon and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were greeted with warm friendly smiles from all the staff which immediately set the tone for a memorable afternoon. The food is outstanding with Chefs attention to detail and culinary expertise apparent in every aspect of out meal. 5 stars, highly recommended. Price per person: £60–70"

"One of the best BIR I've ever been to. Food and service was top quality and a fully booked house on a Friday says it all. Recommend the lamb adraki had a nice subtle kick but also full with flavour. Cod tikka as a starter was sublime Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"when we went to the pub, it was so expected quiet with only a few locals, as expected for a Tuesday night. we were a table of 8 coming for a family meal no table was prepared for us, they said, sitting everywhere, which is good, but there were no tables for 8, so we had to move tables chairs ourselves then we had to go the bar to order drinks as no one came by. no menus had to ask for 20 minutes. drinks were slow and even understood with only one person behind the bar, but not when we were the only table in it. then there was even worse 1 hour between sitting starters coming after we ordered that he read the order back, but still missed one starter coming, all the others finished before missing one came dirty cutlery thrown in the ground as starter did not arrive polished in food covered remains watermark - no one checked on starts offered no plates for the release of camembert. the brot with suppe camembert was tesco hot boils we all had empty jars, which we then asked to be deleted and came after more drinks net. pie had parching paper under neath her still what we oh sorry came with pad and pencil and asked if we wanted pudding. we had not seen a menu. bill was not asked to get it on the table. no excuse, or how we thought that was eating. I then went to bar and explained problems and asked me to speak with manager, because I was not happy to whom he said there was nothing he could do. then went on phone to manager. we arrived around 19:20 clock and left around 10 clocks, in which 3 dirty tables around us remained dirty covered drinks. we have eaten many paintings with the family in the run of the years and we have been appalled with this experience that we will not come back. even deserves a star."

"We were not sure what to expect it looked like an old pub from the outside plenty of tables outside and no real indication as to the entrance there was a front door and a side door so with trepidation we entered the front door (I suppose that would have been logical). Once inside it was massive and most tables were full (it was 7pm on a Saturday). All nicely spaced, it was warm and comfortable looking and we we were shown to our seats. A couple of beers ordered and then what to have questions asked and answered honestly about portion size (i couldnt work out whether to have chips) and honest and accurate in the answer. We started with a Greek Sharing platter salad, olives, feta cheese, halloumi and dips and as i told the waitress the best houmous i have ever had. Nice Sourdough bread too. For mains my wife had Scampi and chips (massive chunky ones). I opted for the Hungarian Beef Hotpot (Gulasch) and no chips as it came with bread (3 slices would have been nice but 2 were enough) and this was excellent second only to one i had in Austria in 1984. After a lovely 2 courses, it started to get busier and you had to get the waitresses attention not that in anyway we were ignored and nor was it difficult or a long time to get served but, we ordered desert nice choice of proper puddings! My wife opted for tiramisu and i had warm apple and cinnamon cake with custard. Overall the food was great, the service was excellent and the place was great we will certainly come back.
