Anne Hathaway Tea Rooms

Poor customer service but nice coffee. Soup looked ok but sandwich wasn't up to standard. Also naive on allergies.

We had tea and homemade cakes. You receive a warm welcome as you go in. It has a lovely atmosphere and will certainly visit again.

Popped in from Leamington on the bus today with my sister for lunch. Delicious soup and chips, the best chips I've ever had. Will be back. Voir le carte

Really beautiful building, cosy setting, delicious cake, generous portion and friendly staff. So sad to read that the tea room is closing, hoping they have a change of heart so we can visit again.

I can’t review the food or drinks because we came in and were seated then sat for 10 mins waiting only to watch another table come in and be seated then have their order taken ahead of us. We left. Lovely setting though.

We popped in here for a latte and hot chocolate. Great to people watch upstairs. Its a little deceiving, looks small from the outside but plenty of room inside. The staff were very friendly, drinks were great, we shall return. Voir le carte

Disappointing. A nice enough room setting but let down by low quality mass manufactured scones at hand made on the premises prices! It felt like a bit of a tourist trap but hopefully even the overseas tourists will realise that English Cream Tea should be rather better than this! We visited a cafe a few doors down the High Street the previous day and although it didn’t have such a pleasant room, it had a better offering!

We found Hathaways at teatime before we got our coach home. When we entered we got the biggest welcome despite it being very busy. You have to go upstairs to the first floor by easy to climb stairs i have difficulty with my mobility) once you are there it's a large room with a lovely atmosphere. We ordered pots of tea and can reccommend the tea bread scones and cake ,as you would imagine all homemade. We will go there again when we next visit and can reccommend to everybody. A

We’ve been coming this tearoom for the past 50 years. We always have toasted tea cakes and tea. Today we ordered these as usual and the order was accepted. The tea came more-or-less straight away. However, we waited for ages for our tea cakes. Eventually the waiter came back to serve people at an adjacent table. We asked what had happened to our tea cakes. He said “Oh we don’t do tea cakes.” So why did he accept the order and why do they still call it a tea shop when they don’t serve tea cakes? Not impressed. I don’t think we’ll be coming back.
