"This place is small but cute. Staff are very friendly and know what they are doing. Only downside is the poor disability access. It's a converted house in the old part of wimborne so I get that it's tricky. But some small ramps would make a huge difference. The food is top quality and freshly prepared on site. Very cute garden at the rear. The team work hard to offer fantastic service and a welcoming atmosphere. You will not be pleased you searched it out."

"This is a great pub and food is normally very good, however we went there for a Sunday Roast and we were very disappointed, we chose pork with crackling, the crackling was totally inedible as it was as tough as shoe leather and the waiter did also agree that he would have a word with the chef and the potatoes were under cooked with black bits in. It was very disappointing."

"The thing with a place that just serves food on a big board is the ingredient standard and presentation has to be spot on... and here it really is. Great variety of meat and cheese, lovely wine, good accompaniments. All obviously not bought to a price. Couple of notes for first-timers like me. Not complaints, just notes: 1. If you order a board (pic below is the 4 person) you get a lot of meat and cheese and not much bread, olives etc. If we go again (we will) we'll order a smaller board and more side dishes, especially bread. 2. When booking, you get a choice between high and low tables. High is like sitting at a bar on a stool, low normal table. Whatever floats your boat. So in summary: I loved it and will return, and I think with experience will get more out of it."

"Nice ambience. Lovey staff. However although the food was tasty our party of four all felt thankful that we had ordered the “Sunday roast Soaker” as apposed to the “moderate”. The ‘expected’ large soaker was a much smaller portion than we expected at £15 a plate we won’t be going back. Don’t get me wrong, what was there was very tasty served hot. If the portions were bigger we would definitely return, but as it stands we’ll head back to the Rope Anchor in Poole town centre."

"Might seem strange to start a review of the Green Man by mentioning the Landlady of a different pub in Wimborne.. However, the Odd Fellows Arms does not do Sunday lunch and she reccomend The Green Man., even showed us the way. The Green Man is a 5 minute walk from the Minster and well worth it. Obviously we hadn't booked but the charming lady behind the bar found us a table. Good Menu with reasonable prices. We opted for Sunday Roasts with apple crumble for dessert, very nice. Total price for 2 including coffees £29. Add on two really good waitresses and we couldn't fault this experience. Would we reccomend? Definitely. Would we come again ? Definitely."
