"My partner and I called at the Greenhouse Public House for a drink having been living away from the area for a number of years. I stood at the bar while my partner went to the toilet waiting to be served. A young lad was...serving a gentleman which was fair enough and the pub was virtually empty. I waited and waited and despite other staff (including the manager) being behind the bar talking nobody seemed to be interested in asking me if I had been served or want my business. My partner returned and asked if I had been served to which I replied no. Then to add insult to injury a local chap walked boldly straight up to the bar and got served before me. I couldn’t believe it and what a cheek! We left the Greenhouse without purchasing a drink and went to another drinking establishment up the road where we received better service. The barman could have said that he would be with me shortly and the manager could have asked have you been served or asked another member of staff to serve me. Where are the manners, respect and service gone in this place? It seems to me that they give priority to the locals. We won’t be returning to this place anytime soon."

Very friendly staff and food was very nice. Steak was lovely. Dog friendly tables too. Made us all welcome. Will come again.

Lovely pub with great food and cracking beer garden! Had a family lunch and really good time. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff.

We had a lovely visit to the greenhouse. Food was hot, delicious and came out quickly. Really good portions, no room for dessert and to top it all the beer garden is lovely.

We called in for an impromptu lunch with the family and had a great time. Lovely pint of beer with nice food in lovely surroundings. Service could not be faulted as the staff were very attentive and considerate to our needs.

I visited this pub today for Sunday lunch I had the roast beef and it was amazing great service and value for money all the staff were very friendly welcoming and nothing was to much trouble I will definitely be going back and would highly recommended it

Food great. Beware drinks prices! The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food was very good and excellent value and portion size, however, if I’d known they would charge £5:60 for a pint of Perroni I’d have had something else. So many pubs don’t...have clear alcohol price lists to enable one to make a choice. Lesson learned.

We were originally a large party of 9 with short notice (just a couple of hours) our group size become 16. The staff were very accommodating and were able to fit us all in. Also even without pre-ordering all food was lovely and arrived...promptly paying the bill even for a large group was well organised-Thank you for great customer service.

Went for Sunday lunch which for me, as a vegetarian, consisted of 2 small roast potatoes, about half a carrot and a small spoonful of cabbage along with veggie sausages at a price of £12.10! The meal was tiny but to make it worse they...now use instant gravy. I would have been disappointed if the “meal” had been £5!! The Three Blackbirds just up the road does a very good carvery for just £7.99 so The Greenhouse needs to sort itself out!
