Greenhouse - Carte

Very friendly staff and food was very nice. Steak was lovely. Dog friendly tables too. Made us all welcome. Will come again.

Food great. Beware drinks prices! The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food was very good and excellent value and portion size, however, if I’d known they would charge £5:60 for a pint of Perroni I’d have had something else. So many pubs don’t...have clear alcohol price lists to enable one to make a choice. Lesson learned.

We were originally a large party of 9 with short notice (just a couple of hours) our group size become 16. The staff were very accommodating and were able to fit us all in. Also even without pre-ordering all food was lovely and arrived...promptly paying the bill even for a large group was well organised-Thank you for great customer service.

Went for Sunday lunch which for me, as a vegetarian, consisted of 2 small roast potatoes, about half a carrot and a small spoonful of cabbage along with veggie sausages at a price of £12.10! The meal was tiny but to make it worse they...now use instant gravy. I would have been disappointed if the “meal” had been £5!! The Three Blackbirds just up the road does a very good carvery for just £7.99 so The Greenhouse needs to sort itself out! Voir le carte

As frequent guests, we were extremely displeased with the Sunday dinner at the restaurant. The service was adequate but very slow, with an apology offered for the delay due to a large table they were serving. When the food finally arrived after an hour, it was completely unappetizing - 3 dry pieces of roast beef, 4 small carrots, a few pieces of cauliflower, instant gravy, and a Yorkshire pudding that looked like it had been squished several times. My wife's vegetarian option lacked potatoes and was even less appealing, with soggy and unappetizing vegetarian sausages. We left feeling hungry and disappointed, and will not be returning to this restaurant again.

I have visited this restaurant several times in the last few months and have never been disappointed. I quickly and easily booked a table online to bring some family friends with me on a Friday night when they were visiting Wales. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal - it tasted great and was piping hot. I ordered the steak and requested it to be cooked well, and it was perfect. One of my friends also ordered the steak cooked medium, and he said it was delicious as well. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. My partner and I called at the Greenhouse Public House for a drink having been living away from the area for a number of years. I stood at the bar while my partner went to the toilet waiting to be served. A young lad was...serving a gentleman which was fair enough and the pub was virtually empty. I waited and waited and despite other staff (including the manager) being behind the bar talking nobody seemed to be interested in asking me if I had been served or want my business. My partner returned and asked if I had been served to which I replied no. Then to add insult to injury a local chap walked boldly straight up to the bar and got served before me.
