Der Italiener um die Ecke mit solidem Angebot an klassischen Speisen. Alles in Ordnung wenn man an einem schönen Abend ein nettes Essen ohne Firlefanz in schönem Ambiente zu sich nehmen möchte. Lediglich die Beleuchtung war für meinen Geschmack etwas zu düster.

The food was wonderful and fresh, the pasta and sauces made fresh in-house. Service was excellent, as were the wine choices and desserts (tiramisu and truffel eis are a must). The atmosphere was cozy and romantic, but also very elegant. The prices are also extremely...fair. I will certainly return to Goldoni soon!

Herrlich wie in Italien! Mein erster Besuch soll nicht der letzte gewesen sein. Vor allem kann ich eine Tischreservierung empfehlen, denn wir hatten am Sonntagabend echt Glück.Endlich mal eine Speisekarte ohne Spaghetti Bolognese oder Carbonara. Stattdessen weiß ich für den nächsten Besuch, das man gut Prima Piatti Nudeln und dann noch Fisch oder Fleisch bestellen kann!!Zuvorkommender, unaufdringlicher Service!

Wir gehen seit einigen Jahren in das vielleicht typischste italienische Restaurant in Stuttgart. Wir geniessen die Gastfreundschaft beim Service, die tollen Pastas, die Pizzen mit dünnen Boden, frische Antipasti, Fisch oder Fleisch. Alles sehr gut und frisch zubereitet, dazu eine sehr gute Auswahl an italienischen Weinen. Von den Dolci ganz zu schweigen. Das ist alles nicht ganz billig, aber die Qualität ist auch überdurchschnittlich.Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist aus unserer Sicht der geringe Wechsel der Gerichte auf der aktuellen Karte. Das wird aber nur eintönig, wenn man öfter hierher kommt. Ansonsten wirklich empfehlenswert! Voir le carte

Zum dritten Mal, mit großen Abständen, verlasse ich das Restaurant begeistert.Eine ruhige, gemütliche Atmospäre, freundliches und vor allem unaufdringliches Personal und sehr gutes Essen. Die Preise sind angemessen und es gibt nichts zu meckern.Zwar gibt es nur gutes Flaschenbier, aber beim Italiener trinkt man wohl Wein, wenn ich das richtig weiß. Die Salate sind auch im Winter sehr gut und mit Liebe gemacht. Suppe und Pizza echt gut. Irgendwie, wenn man die Lage bedenkt so etwas wie ein Geheimtipp, oder ein Glück für die Anwohner.Toll, wie gesagt, das Personal, endlich mal normale, freundliche Leute und nicht diese Italienerschauspieler mit ihrem prego- ciao-Getue.

I am from the US and was visiting some friends in Stuttgart and we had a dinner at Goldoni that was absolutely fantastic, amazing food and really friendly staff. I had the lammkoteletts, which were simply delicious and perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. I had the dark chocolate truffel eis for dessert, which was otherworldly, and split it with my friend who had the white chocolate version which was also very tasty but not as awe-inducing as the dark one. The staff was very accommodating and seated us even though we showed up when they were just setting up for the evening, before the official opening time. There is nothing special about this restaurant: The food isn 't really bad (I 've been offered worse , but between 4 adults and 2 children there was not even one dish that was at least somewhat memorable. The service was awkward, to say the least. What was...shocking however was their approach towards wines: they didn 't have a wine list, didn 't have a display of the wines they were selling and the few that they were displaying were showing no prices. Upon asking them about wines we were first offered red or white , upon further digging into the topic they asked me what do you drink?! , the next question was how much I 'd like to spend and so on and so on.
