"Haven’t been here for probably 18 months for no apparent reason. Just fell off our radar. The food is excellent. The ribs and tea chicken are two of our favourites. Can’t manage the set meals anymore so we chose the starter selection followed by a main dish each with rice. Whilst we seemed to fall behind in the pecking order for food coming to our table, as others who came later were being served ahead of us, it was a lovely meal, although a rice dish came out sometime after the dish it was to accompany. Service is good and we enjoyed chatting and catching up with our friends. Must not leave it so long to go back."

what a lovely evening out great food and very nice staff not the cheapest but if you won't great food it's well worth a visit

Absolutely the best ribs I’ve ever tasted. The salt pepper mushrooms are wonderfully moorish. Chicken curry had great flavour the chicken just melted in my mouth.

Always love the Golden Cross. The food is really good, and the staff always make you feel welcome. All our family celebrations are held here. Not a budget option, but we feel it is well worth a visit.

A fantastic restaurant, totally authentic dishes with fabulous service. It is such a nice change to be able to sit down for a meal and not feel rushed or hurried. The value for money is very good too.

Having been rejected by the anchor up the road who have a ridiculous no cash policy..was pleased to find the Golden Cross.....fabulous food, great service and good selection of drinks...highly reccommended.
