"We went for dinner here to celebrate our last evening in Vienna, partly because of positive reviews. The restaurant seems nice but the food and in particular the service were very disappointing. The person serving us was really gruff, and sweaty, and smelled strongly of...cigarettes. The ingredients were ok but the dishes were really poorly seasoned. I had the seafood platter for which was small prawn, scallop, half a sea bass, one small piece of squid) and had basically been char-grilled on a pan that had clearly not been cleaned the main flavour was of carbon. The seafood came with a small amount of potatoes w one sprig of rosemary, and a very indifferent salad (musty dressing, some leaf stalks were brown). I asked for some lemon to try to add flavour (it didn't come with any) and received two tiny slices and was actually charged a euro for it! When I asked about this the waiter shrugged and said it wasn't his problem as he wasn't the owner. He didn't ask if we wanted dessert. We left as soon as we were finished eating as the atmosphere was so hostile and unwelcoming. Really bad attitude a bit of charm and some sense of service could have made it all a lot better. Not going back, would certainly not recommend."

I love eating at Glasweise, food is absolutely delicious my first being in Vienna and it is definitely the place to get good food. Such a pleasant cozy atmosphere and service is excellent. I will be eating there again while I'm visiting here.

Alle Speisen sehr hochwertig, gute Beratung bei Sonderwünschen. Service sehr aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich, genau dann da, wenn man ihn braucht. Perfekt passendes Ambiente. Insgesamt sehr stimmig. Deshalb sind wir nach dem Essen auch gerne noch auf ein paar Gläschen geblieben! Danke für den tollen Abend!
