Had such a lovely time at this place. The food was lovely, authentic, and tasted like it was cooked with love and homeliness. Top tier selection of wines (absolutely massive book of them). The service was particularly good as the women serving and working behind the bar were delightful, great fun and had a fantastic playlist of tasteful disco bangers on. Top marks from me! I hope I get to eat here again one day.

The quality has not changed durung Covid. Authenic amazing food in a small little electic place. Meet wonderful new people, thank you Daphne, Luca, Giulia. It was wonderful meeting Sole Do yourself a favor and eat here to get to know the real Rome!

Friday night at dinner with friends. I'm begging that we knew julium even before the fire that devastated him a few years ago. Fast service, delicious dishes, beautiful atmosphere. They rebuilt the whole original environment. It was Friday night but we had a great meal and we were really happy with everything. I can say we were afraid that after the fire it was no longer like once... and instead even better than before!! We'll be back.

Lovely little spot in a quiet street, we were very lucky to be seated outside on a Saturday night with no reservation we arrived at 6.45pm and the friendly waiter said we just had to be done before the reservation at 8.30. We had an amazing meal with great local wine recommendations from the waiter, my cacio e pepe pasta with truffle was one of the best meals I had in Italy. I'm still thinking about it. I had an espresso after dinner which was also excellent!

Tucked in a cute laneway back from a relatively busy street, away from the noise. Friendly staff. Quick service and food came out fast too. Great opening hours across the day. Small selection of very tasty dishes. Daily specials. Pasta was incredible and well priced at about €9-12. We came back the next day and ordered alternate dishes and were very impressed. One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Italy. They even gave us a souvenir branded fan. Highly recommended!

Stumbled upon this restaurant by accident on the way from the Vatican to a wine tasting. It’s a bit out of the way and did not seem touristy at all. It is now on our lists of restaurants to recommend and revisit in Rome. They have the standard Roman menu choices along with daily specials. The menu is on a chalkboard and not printed or with a QR code (we have found this is usually a very good sign as it tends to indicate they are making what’s fresh and/or in season). My wife had the wild boar ragu and I had the tortellini in brodo. Delicious food, reasonable prices and friendly staff who put up with our less than stellar Italian. I would absolutely recommend this place and we will be back.

booked for three people, expressly requesting outside heated. on the phone we are guaranteed what is required, but upon our arrival (most) the room was full both outside and inside, no reserved table. We wait almost minutes to sit down, try to move on a table outside the heated area and in the dark pesto but not having agreed at the end they can accommodate us in the requested area. we order and after about minutes the waiter (simpatic and kind) returns saying that the required dishes are exhausted, proposing alternatives. after another time he returns saying that the alternatives were not available and proposes us more. good food but nothing so exceptional to justify the high price, especia...
