"Visited today with a baby and a 5 year old. Rang ahead (10.15) for a 12.15 table. Got there 10 mins early and there was a huge que, so we went to sit down at the only reserved table with a chair missing for the high chair presumably (process of elimination and common sense used here) friend went up to order at 12.15, at 12.20 while she was still waiting to order the bloke came over to me and explained we weren’t supposed to sit there and they would need the table back by 1.15 which would be fine. By 12.40 my friend was STILL waiting to order, and was made to feel unwelcome by the man behind the till saying we shouldn’t of sat down and she agreed to move. We were moved (as were another couple who were mid way through drinking their coffee) to a small table which was not suitable for a high chair and a 5 year old and we couldn’t fit all our meals on when they eventually came at around 12.55 (had to utilise a spare chair to balance the hot pot of tea that was placed next to the handsy baby again please use common sense..In any case we were actually finished by 1.15 and didn’t bother sticking around for dessert. Then to top off the rude service we had already received by the man, we were confronted on our way out by a lady whom I think was the owner asking us if there was a problem with our meal to which we replied we were asked to move and she became quite defensive and rude about needing the table by 1.15 as it was pre booked and when we stated we too had booked, she argued we had only given an hours notice (it was 2 as we checked our phone record) in any case if they didn’t have the table space they should of said on the phone. Also when we left at 1.15 there was nobody sat at that table so the aggressive nature was really unhelpful! If we had realised that it would be such an inconvenience for them we wouldn’t have bothered and we certainly won’t be bothering again!"

Excellent …. Visited here for breakfast after departing Tattershall park . Food was cooked Fresh good quality items and perfect way to start the day.

Had lunch here today with my daughter and grandaughter we come here alot food is lovely cake is amazing and staff are very polite. Milk shakes are amazing too !

Booked in for afternoon tea. Don't eat lunch first! Well presented, good quality, lots of variety and generous portions . .and you geta free doggy bag for your left overs.

Enjoyed breakfast on two occasions this week and both were wonderful. Yes you do have a little wait but the food is fresh and well cooked. Loads to choose from and the smoothies are to die for according to my 7 year old granddaugter

A group of us ladies were doing a big bike ride, and planned this cafe as a break for refueling, OMG the cake was not only huge it was delicious 10/10, definitely worth a visit, staff were lovely and helpful also...wish you were closer Voir le carte

We found this little gem, thank goodness. Popped in for brunch, just gorgeous!!! I had the toasted BLT, hubby had cheeseburger with chunky chips. Fresh, hot, home cooked food, service with a smile at such a reasonable price. Just lovely, thank you

Rang ahead to make sure they accepted dogs, Very friendly lady who said yes. Lots of luscious cakes on display as well as a good choice of sandwiches and meals. We had a tasty bacon sandwich and a cup of tea. We looked at other meals being served and they definitely looked very appetising.
