"My business guest and I recently popped in to the Gasthaus Herkenrath for a quick lunch on a warm and humid afternoon and settled at one of the bench tables under the large parasols in the courtyard. The waitress was mildly surprised to learn that...we didn’t want the lunchtime buffet unlike the considerable number of other guests (mainly pensioners). We both ordered small salads as a starter. I had wanted the “all the ribs you can eat” but was told that they were only available in the evening. So I went for the rump steak which was great – well cooked and really juicy. With a butter laden baked potato to accompany my steak and a cool glass of beer shandy I was well satisfied. Service was brisk and efficient. Ourr waitress had a lot to do in the heat of the day but she kept her cool and did a great job in keeping us happy."

Schönes Restaurant mit einem sehr einladenden Hinterhof. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und die Getränke lecker man dort sehr schön sitzen und den Abend genießen.

The place looks modern but lacking atmosphere. The restaurant has several sections. Long rooms but narrow. Upstairs is cramped. The food in general is ok. Nothing special. The Stark was stars.

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Im Innenhof befindet sich ein Biergarten. Räumlchkeiten auch für Firmenfeiern oder Geburtstage geeignet. Das Essen war sehr und der Service war außerordentlich freundlich. Cocktails konnte man aus der aus einer dazugehörigen Cocktailbar bestellen.

Nach 2 Jahren wieder dort gewesen und immer wieder herrlich!. Ambiente Topp, Service Topp, Speisen und Getränke Topp. Gehen auf Sonderwünsche ein. Sehr leckeres Essen und Trinken. Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal. Preise für die Speisen am oberen Limit, dennoch gerechtfertigt. Saubere sanitäre Anlage. Immer wieder gerne!
