Great food dog and kid friendly. Dropped in last week for a quick bite, and the kids loved it. Went in another 4 times whilst in the area. Good food great pasta!

Average pub with average food. Steak and ale pie more like dish of soup with pastry on top and very little steak. Husband's steak tough and needed lot of chewing.

A fantastic pub with terrific food, really nice rooms, brilliant staff and an owner in Martin who is one of the most welcoming hosts I have ever met. We stopped for three days and will be back ! Voir le carte

Stayed for 2 nights. Ate dinner two evenings. Lovely, clean place. Quiet and very friendly. Rooms spacious and homely with everything we needed. Food was lovely and plentiful. Prices were good too. Would definitely stay and/or eat there again.

Amazing food! Best pub food for a long time. Had burgers and Parma chicken. Huge portions and quality fresh ingredients. Was busy but only waited 20 minutes. Great service from friendly staff. Wish we lived nearer, would be there every day. Garden looks a bit neglected.

I had the chicken curry, with chips and Naan. Absolutely amazing food! The chips were perfect. Curry was one of the best pub curry’s I’ve ever had. The staff were lovely, and so helpful and polite. The only thing I will say, is that the toilets could do with a refurb and a good clean. Voir le carte

Just returned from a two night stay as a family of 4. We loved it! Had the newly renovated top floor room #4; great colour scheme and really comfy. Had dinner in the pub on our first night, food was very good especially the scampi! Breakfast was the best I’ve had; poached eggs cooked to perfection and the cooked breakfast was very good too. Really enjoyed my first ever pub stay! Will have to seek out more!

We went to Fylingthorpe for a week's holiday and went to try the food on our first night. A nice local pub. Not the smartest but a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. My steak and ale pie was very tasty as was the fish pie, the vegan jalfrezi and the butter chicken curry. The portion sizes were good, and so we're the prices. The Theakston bitter was also good. How good was it? We went back for Sunday lunch and twice more after that!

My husband , myself ,our two daughters and three grandchildren , the youngest being three, had lunch here on Monday. We are , one dairy and gluten free, 4 vegan , one vegetarian and one who eats anything. Usually this makes eating out difficult but this place had everything covered ,with more than one vegan choice ,which is rare. They are also dog friendly but have one area dog free in case of allergy. The portions were very generous and the staff friendly and helpful. highly recommend and hopefully will get to visit again .
