Frankie Benny's - Carte

what a last of müll! cold eggs! toast, which is unedible and soggy after being drowned in the cheap water beans that were thrown over the whole plate! dry leather over boiled old speck! black pudding, which resembles a hard coal. £20 completely...used! now for some decent eating elsewhere to pay.

I had a quick bite before a movie. the service is completely covered and do not seem to recognize any patrons. I had a steak salad that was pretty good. my wife ordered a 10 pizza. the pizza looked badly constructed as done in the dark. it tasted bad too. the service was terrible. the steak salad has actually increased the overall rating.

we use here always for dinner when they are close to flying the next day, service is always good, eating is in the rule excellent, parking is sometimes a pain, but in the rule you will find a place within minutes, its in a busy complex with cinema and restaurants, with. here before an early morning flight, always feel filled the next morning, so cant do breakfast at the airport. stop faster in front of a movie. all other food packed, but this empty. looks like a typical American cabin style dinner. in front of the house personal friendly and welcoming. Pasta dishes were bland, I had better finished dishes....Meatballs about herbed and pizza was missing substance. starters have never arrived. our server halfway through our network, but no sign of it. the starters were paid and left. first I decided not to leave a tipp. shan is not visited again.

We went into Frankie and Bennys which was busy but not overcrowded -my wife has a crutch as she struggles to walk and even so we were made to wait a good five minutes before being seated -we were shown to a booth -the waitresses...kept avoiding our gaze when we were ready to order -the final straw came when after 40 minutes a family group that came in were served straight away -Iae walked out disgusted as we had still not been even offered drinks -I will not be going back

Booked a table pre cinema showing. Table ready for us which was a good start. Drinks order taken but could see they would take an age as only one poor lady running the bar with lots of dirty glasses covering the bar! Food order taken...shortly afterwards then we waited and waited. Eventually got our drinks and waited about a further 45 minutes for food. No cutlery provided so had to wait to get someone’s attention to sort. Food average and mostly cold sadly. Thankfully able to pay direct rather than wait for someone to help. Shame about the whole experience glad we weren’t celebrating something important. Voir le carte

After sitting for 20 minutes without a drinks order we were asked if we were ready to order our food. We said no and that we hadn’t ordered our drinks yet. The staff were very apologetic so we were hopeful that would be that. Sadly...not as the drinks took another 20 odd minutes to arrive. After a long wait for the food as well the burgers were nice, but the fries stone cold. We asked what the problem was and they said they had internal issues and our server hadn’t had a break in 10 hours. We won’t be going back. Clearly they can’t cope in that particular restaurant. I’m sure other Frankie and Bennies are fine. Just not the Crawley one sadly.

Arrived just after 4pm today, we didn’t book but there were many empty tables. We waited a good 5 mins just inside the door to be seated, not easy as I’m obviously using a disability walking aid. Eventually a waitress sat us at a table....Within 3 mins we’d chosen our food order as we were very hungry. We waited and waited .... we tried to catch the eye of any passing waitress but they all refused any eye contact. No one took our order, drinks or food. No staff came to us at all. We noticed the waitresses chatting to one another but we overlooked that we understand that it’s nice to have a bit work banter. But when it impacts on customers, extra training needs to be mandatory. After 35 mins...

The food in this Frankie and Benny's is probably the best I've had. Even better than the London restaurants. The BUT is that the service lets it down.. it's very slow. I totally understand that it gets busy and we unfortunately went at a very...busy time, it just seems like the place is very under staffed and Its not fair on the staff that are working their butts off trying to serve and keep everyone happy in a huge packed out restaurant. Our waitress was lovely, although very clearly stressed and running around like a headless chicken all evening she still had a smile on her face and still kept a sense of humour.
