"the first time in england and wanted real English fish and chips. the pub was clean and tidy. pool table and various edges to entertain everyone. the young tattooed dame behind the bar was friendly and helpful with my asking to the menu. the chips. were in order, but needed salt and ketchup to add taste. I appreciate the fact that the fish were not made over the diligent, but not a real taste again. had to add lemon and other spicy to make it better. the Burger options looked interesting and may require a second visit."

I have just popped in for a lunch and drink I had the meatball melt sub and a Guinness The pub looks like it's been refubished resentley the pub is clean and tidy. And a perfect pint of Guinness and the food was freshly prepared...I paid £6.99 for the sub and Guinness what is below the average for the area No complaints

Stopped in for lunch and had a top Quality full English breakfast, my partner had a bacon sandwich. All well cooked, tasty, neatly presented and pretty good value nowadays as a drink was included Friendly staff who saw to me quickly and nothing was any...trouble. Definitely recommend a visit and will be back to try other things on the menu!

A very relaxed Saturday lunch. Great burger and excellent mixed grill, we added a foot long plate of onion rings to share covered in plenty of toppings. Good quality food presented well along with a good selection of beers and gins.... When the weather turns...warmer we will be returning to take advantage of the patio area too watch the sports.
