Appalling service from manager.The Plate of food served was not worth the money. Not the first time. But will be the last .

Had takeaway fish and chips from the food window and very impressed. Gorgeous fish, not greasy at all. Beautiful chips perfectly cooked. Brilliant portion sizes and fast and friendly service. Drove ten minutes from our caravan site to pick up and so glad we did! Voir le carte

They won’t make any changes to your meals and they are offensive, rude when I mentioned I’m allergic they just said they’d advise to order something else. I’m shocked at the management I had conversations with 2 of them and both said no changes to the menu. Really terrible customer service and attitude from the staff.

Food was ok not cheap but just about acceptable under the cost of living crisis, what really was a shock 1/2 lager Shandy plus 1/2 Lager one small house wine and Soda and a pint of Fosters no change from £20,talking London prices at £5 a pint personally pretty steep for a village pub, that alone would definitely stop me going back to this place.

Wow! Fantastic food, fantastic friendly staff. We were staying at a campsite just up the road so had a drive down for some food and were not dissapointed. The menu is fantastic, caters for everything and everyone. We chose the peppercorn chicken smash burger. Very large portions and excellent value for money. These guys even cater for the four legged friends, we would definitely be back again! Beer garden is lovely and pub appeared clean and tidy. Voir le carte

The food was very good for a pub meal, we both had steak and ale pie. The pie was absolutely delicious with loads of tender, lean steak. We ordered a side of vegetables, but the meal was so big we really didn't need them. The food was great for the price, but the service really let's the place down. As soon as you order anything you have to pay for it before you even taste anything. Another customer asked for a box to take home some of her food and was charged 50p for a small Styrofoam box. The person who takes your order is very surly and at no point were we asked if the food was OK. The customer service really let's the place down.

We stopped for an evening meal on the way to Filey after 5hr drive. Staff were friendly and pub is dog friendly. We were shown to our table and our order was taken very quickly. The place was very large and full of holiday makers. The food was waiter service for ordering and drinks were ordered at the bar. Bar staff quick and efficient. You have to pay prior to your food being served so I can only assume they have had people do runners. Food choice was extensive but not much for vegans. Good kids menu and good choice of sides. Unfortunately when we arrived we weren’t told how long the wait was. On 35 mins we queried this and were told when we ordered it was 45 mins. Ended up being just over...

Sadly I am unable to review the food as we never did get to eat here So, purely reviewing the customer service. Arrived on Saturday as a party of 8 (inc wheelchair) We were told it would be upto an hour wait to get a table as was very busy. We were Ok with this and proceeded to buy drinks at the bar. We then sat outside and waited patiently (we did also have a 2 year old within our group) but we kept her occupied.
