Great atmosphere, friendly people and the food was amazing the chef knows what they are doing! The portions are quite big so don’t overestimate your hunger.

Roast beef and Turkey were excellent, so much veg, large Yorkshires. I liked the jug of gravy so you can add as much as you want. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We visited for our work Christmas lunch with 8 people and had pre-ordered everything. The food was delicious, the staff were lovely, and the atmosphere was great. Thank you very much. Voir le carte

During our stopover on our way south, we spent a night at the Foundry. The shared plates were incredibly tasty, and our breakfast was just as delicious. The staff, despite preparing to close for the week, were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

This restaurant is delightful and inviting, with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The bottle of wine we enjoyed was also reasonably priced. We would definitely return again.

Came for our work Christmas meal, everyone was extremely pleased with their meals and mine (salmon) was one of the best meals I have ever had, the sauce was so good I could have licked the plate clean Service was also great and a good atmosphere. Highly recommend! Voir le carte

What can I say,outstanding food ,service. We went on a xmas night which consists on drink on arrival even non alcohol cocktails,food,and . The food was ammmazing,beef just melted in your mouth ,veg perfectly fine and the dessert just divine .Staff so kind and the duo singing and playing the guitar just finished the night off. Well worth the , totally recommend .

My first time here , The food was ok , but not great . It was a party night and I think the size of the party was to big for them . The place is very small and it was cramped . The Turkey Christmas dinner was nice but the gravy was awful . Starters were ok but lacked garnish and just sat on a bare plate .dessert was fine. I would go again and give it another try but I don’t think it’s a party venue .

Stopped over for two nights for a wedding. On arrival the staff were welcoming and showed us to our room. Rooms were spotlessly clean, recently made over and very comfortable. The location is excellent, 2 mins to anywhere in Penrith. The bar downstairs was lively with live music which was a bonus. The breakfast included was fantastic. Locally sourced and good quality produce. Would 100% recommend if you’re visiting.l the area. Voir le carte
