Fetcham Tandoori - Carte

The restaurant is beautiful with delicious food that is all beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed their famous railway lamb dish. The service was good but could be improved.

Take out service Disappointed to be honest! Food was Luke warn. Starters (salmon tikka was small portion , overdone and not that tasty. Mail course chicken passanda was like soup(! there were 5 bits of small chicken in my mail! Rice was ok.

The restaurant offers incredible food and service in a traditional yet authentic atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. It is clear that the management values the quality of their food and service, and it really shows. Keep up the excellent work! Voir le carte

Phoned at 18:00 with a takeaway order for collection at 19:30. Food still not ready at 20:25 and no explanation given by the staff. When we did eventually sit down to eat, the food was at least very good, just a shame the experience was spoiled by poor service.

The wait for food and drinks was unacceptable. We waited 2 hours for our food, and it was frustrating to see orders constantly leaving for deliveries. The owner eventually came over and admitted that the kitchen was a complete mess. There are better restaurants in Ashtead.

This place has gone so far downhill these days. You can't get through on the phone, as it is diverted to a mobile number, and nobody answers. Forget this place. They obviously want to fail. Such a shame, as I have been eating there for years. There is always another restaurant, and that's where we went this evening. Voir le carte

After several recommendations thought I’d try this with a ‘takeaway’. There was a vast amount of meat and also prawn, but NOT tandoori, which is usually moderately spiced and dry from the clay oven. This was wet and sloppy, too much unnecessary salad and quite bland. Chicken was a wing without much meat and other meat very chewy. Best bit was the Nan bread. Won’t be back.

We are regulars at Fetcham Tandoori, and have rated it very highly until now. Last night the waiting time for EVERYTHING was beyond acceptable. We waited thirty minutes just to get a drink, 45 minutes until a waiter took our order and a further 40 minutes until the food arrived at out table. The family on the next table had waited 1 hour and 45 minutes, before complaining and taking their sit in food away as a takeout. It is clear TAKE AWAYS RULE !!! Deliveroos and a queue of take away customers clearly get priority, although as always the food was excellent when it did eventually arrive nearly 1 hour and twenty five minutes after we had sat down

We have ordered from here many times. This evening was no different, except for the fact that when I called to place an order (7:45) PM I was told by a young lady, that they are not taking anymore orders at the moment, but will be later . I have never heard such nonsense. I was asked to call back later. No word of an apology, and no explanation. Sorry, but I am not willing to be told that I have to wait to order food until later, how absurd. A very odd thing to say, and I have never heard of a restaurant, especially a normally good restaurant, not taking any more orders, and then having the cheek of asking you to call back later.
