"Called in on spec whilst passing through the village. The pub is pleasant and the staff and locals were friendly. There was a nice seating area outside the pub itself would easily merit a 4 or 5HoweverThe beer was poor. I had a pint of Leeds Pale which was just drinkable because it was a little cloudy and had an aftertaste which the brewer didn't have in mind. I then swapped to a Timothy Taylor Landlord. This is usually a good pint. But not on this occasion. It was cloudy and once again had a bad after taste. I think the landlord needs to clean his lines. My wife's lager was fine. The beer was a 1 or 2 and the pub was a 4 or 5 so I have balanced it out at a 3 which seems fair"

I had only one fährburger for me, lammburger for damien, absolutely delicious, best I had so far. can really recommend the ferry burger.

A truly wonderful home from home . Roaring fire and house ale to die for. A lovely drop in after a long cycle or when in need of a chill, a natter with anyone and a professionally pulled pint !

here after googling dog friendly pubs and what a sound. the personal supplied directly water for our dog while we checked the menu. 2 steaks ordered and not disappointed, both cooked to the perfection with new kartoffels and veg. great meal great pub big coworkers.

We had a great meal at the restaurant tonight! The steak and ale pie was superb, and the children loved their sausage and mash with gravy, followed by a delicious pudding. The simple pub food was top-notch and perfectly complemented by a Leeds Pale Ale. Keep up the great work!

I recently visited the Ferry after not stopping by for some time. What a fantastic pub! I had the lamb burger, which was delicious, and the kids enjoyed their fish and chips. The beer was served perfectly, as always. The manager was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. Overall, a fantastic pub!

We dined at the Ferry Inn tonight and the food was fantastic. The appetizers (pate, brie, and calamari) were plentiful, and the main dishes (beef and chorizo burger, ham hock, and chicken parma ham) were delicious. The chef at the Ferry Inn is clearly skilled, and the waitstaff are excellent. Thank you for a wonderful evening with delicious pub fare!

Visited this lovely little pub after searching for dog friendly pubs as was dog sitting for the weekend and was not disappointed. The staff were amazing and very friendly . I had an homemade sausage rolls for starter which was worth the visit alone. Then the steaks arrived which sealed the deal. All in all a great little pub with Timmy Taylor hand pumped ale. 10 outta 10
