"It was my birthday so we decided to go to the Farmers Arms as before lockdown it had been a lovely experience. Today however was a real disappointment. We had informed the restaurant before we went we had three vegans, two of which are dietary...requirements due to medical conditions. My first confusion was why allow you to book a table at but not open the restaurant doors until and leave your diners in the pouring rain and very strong winds. We were then sat at our table by kitchen staff as there was a shortage of waiting staff. The waitress then came over and took our drinks order and asked if we were all having Carvery. We asked for meat and vegan Carvery as we had been informed and confirmed that there were vegan options. The waitress told us that there were no vegan options as they had been unable to get the ingredients to make a vegan option but they could have the vegetables and yorkshire puddings as a vegetarian Carvery which was suitable for vegans at the childs rate. We were given our ticket and we went to choose and collect our dinner. There was a choice of vegetables, the cauliflower was covered in cheese sauce so down to vegetables. The sweet potato mash had been mixed with butter. The stuffing had been mixed with meat, don't understand if you made one with meat why you couldn't make some without. The Meat option was not the best and only warm and not hot and as we were the first diners of the day good luck to anyone else eating there today. My daughter ended up with three items on her plate. As we had informed them before hand of the need for vegan options I don't understand why they did not contact us before hand so we could make an informed decision to dine there or go else where. We did have a table booked for the December but have cancelled this and the person who took this call could not give a damn. Would strongly advise eat else where."

before the house staff was good, starter was expensive for chicken and a handful salat, both nets were cold, even after they were sent back they were not much better, also surprised by the chicken pile was piece chicken meat with bbq sauce, not much of a stack, only really poor man jäger huhn, expensive for a bad quality meal.

for a finished roast. I was very unhappy with what should be bark meat, it was all gristle and quite stringey when I was asked if my meal was in order and I said that the bark was not very nice .what said yes. it sometimes comes up. the not quite the answer that I expected, the rest of the meal was good,No compensation offered for inedible foods,

Visited as a party of We were staying at Sandringham caravan and Motorhome club site at Sandringham so very convenient. The reception we received was lovely by a well mannered and friendly young lady. The service was great and the food was great. Just...a great pub like menu served well with good portions and reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

Having been for a meal at th Farmers Arms on several occasions before, we were happy to recommend it as a good place to eat to our friends. Whilst visiting the area and it being our wedding aniversary ourselves and friends booked a meal in...the evening. Unfortunately the meal was awful. The gammon steak was thin and dry, frozen chips and peas, the chicken starter was tasteless, all in all costing for four of us, that included drink each, it was overpriced and almost not pleasant at all. Of course we should have realised, as it was a Saturday night and the bar and restuarant was almost empty, where as in the past it has always been packed with people and restuarant always full.

I can see why on a Friday tea time, this no atmosphere pub had us and other tables eating, having children in January we had a voucher off food being very busy at work we decided to travel minutes and have...a cheaper family meal out. Whilst I was looking after our young children, my partner went to order food, not being able to set up a tab he had to pay up front, the food came out quickly but was very greasy and after getting home, still having this feeling in my mouth. When ordering desserts the children’s menu had the lack of choice of jelly or ice cream pots, the children decided to have jelly but when we went to order they did not have the jelly After realising my partner had paid up f...

"My wife and I stayed here for a few days to celebrate my birthday. We chose Titchwell Manor due to its location on the A149. From here we can catch the Coasthopper up or down the coast. The bus stops are 100 metres outside the hotel. We were greeted in the car park and shown to our room behind the hotel. We had Basil number 21. It is a large comfortable room, with walk in shower and the fluffiest towels we have ever had. The room was very well heated and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was served from a civilised 8am. The plate of fresh fruit was really good. If you choose to have you eggs poached they will be the most perfect you will ever have with their lovely orange yokes. The rest of the components were equally good and served with leaf tea or great coffee. The bars each had a lovely roaring log fire, where we enjoyed a drink before our meal. The menu choices we made were ham hock, brioche piccalilli and burnt apple purée followed by venison, Jerusalem artichoke and rainbow kale. The other choice was marinated beetroot, basil pesto and goats cheese cream followed by salt baked celeriac, sage and onion with crispy kale. Both meals were outstanding. The venison was very tender and the celeriac was outstanding. On the basis of this dish, a very under stated vegetable. Service was very good and served at a speed we dictated without the continual pestering we have experienced elsewhere. We will definitely come back here as the whole stay was a great experience."
