"What a great evening out with a whole bunch of Spanish and British friends (seven in total . We had been asked to find a place which could cater for a Coeliac (me plus one friend who has recently had a brace fitted (i.e. nothing too complicated to eat! We looked at a couple of reviews and turned up on foot to book as we had already visited other places which simply weren't up to it. El Temple turned out to be the perfect choice for a whole range of different tapas dishes plus a real understanding of my gluten free requirements there was only one dish out of a dozen or so that I could not at. Even the Russian Salad had had the breadsticks removed (always a good indicator that the chef understands about contamination . There was such a wide range of different dishes served and each with their own unique flavours. The critical test for me was what our local Spanish friends thought of the place thankfully they were impressed, and whilst neither had visited before, I got the impression they would go again in the future. The restaurant has great decor and a good atmosphere for dinner. A lovely final meal with lots of friends before we all went our separate ways. Next time we are in Valencia we will return... hopefully Spring 2022 if not before."

Perfect, from the beggining to the end. If we had this restaurant at home (France), we would ate here every week ! The fried squid and the maracuya sorbet are incredible !

Cenamos el sábado y repetimos el domingo a mediodía, con un menú muy bien de precio. La relación calidad/precio es realmente buena, y la atención del servicio también lo fue.

Fuimos en familia a pasar el finde y repetimos 2 veces, para cenar y para comer. Es un local bonito, su personal amable y la comida muy buena. En el interior hay aire acondicionado que se agradece con la ola de calor.

The single star is for the food, which was fine. However, the whole experience was horrible, due to the service. The waiter made no attempt to make us feel welcome; quite the opposite. It was as if he couldn’t bear having us in the restaurant. We’re a couple in our 50s, and couldn’t work out what if anything we did wrong to deserve such a reaction. Stay clear!

Just a local place to eat with a local atmosphere and crowd. Tried the set lunch menu at 18 euros each. Interesting starters pictured below and had the paella of the day as an entree.
