"After 10 days of German food, it was great to get a break. I hunted online for a special family dinner on our last night in Europe and picked El Gaucho.First, the service: amazing. We had to last minute change our dinner time due to a late train. I nervously called the restaurant, and the person who answered was polite and completely accommodating. At the meal itself, the entire staff was very professional and polite, from the greeting, to the explanation of steak cuts, to the ordering, etc. Our waiter directed us to an Austrian cabernet sauvignon, after I explained what we wanted. It was not one of the higher-priced bottles, which I appreciate.Now, the food: although pricey, and I knew that going in, the food was fantastic and I think worth the price. We were a party of five that ordered all sorts of starters, main meals, and sides. Everyone raved about everything. My son and I split a special cut of dry-aged rib-eye steak, and it was tremendous. Also cool: three kinds of pepper on the table, complete with a "pepper menu."The ambiance: Beautiful furnishings throughout. And, the walk home to the hotel via Marienplatz while the bells were ringing was absolutely magical and priceless.Thank you El Gaucho and Munich for a great family holiday!"

Mein Steak ist immer auf den Punkt. 700 Sterne an das Team. Ihr seid super, auch wenn manchmal viel geredet wird. Ihr wisst, was man mit Fleisch machen Muss.

Tolles essen, tolles Personal und ein wirklich gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ob Fleisch oder Fisch, die Speisen sind immer von höchster Qualität und schmecken exquisit. El Gaucho delivers!

I had the burger and my boyfriend had the steak. We both said it was one of the best burgers/steaks we have ever had. Definitely recommend it here if you're a big fan of meat. Great atmosphere too.

Hallo an euch,gestern Abend hatte ich das Vergnügen im El Gaucho zu essen. Vor lauter Auswahl auf der Karte konnte man sich kaum entscheiden. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und auch das Steak war ausgezeichnet. Der einzige Minuspunkt war die Rechnung, die meiner Meinung nach etwas zu hoch ausfiel...Grüße Voir le carte

Waren zum Abendessen im el Gaucho. Sowohl das Chimichurri als auch den Baked Potato fand ich unspektakulär. Sehr gut sind jedoch das Fleisch und die Atmosphäre. Darauf kommt es mir beim Steakessen an. Auch für größere Gruppen weiterzuempfehlen. Kein Münchner schicki micki Laden, sondern ein sehr gutes klassisches Steak Restaurant mit allem was dazugehört und vor allem exzellent gegrilltes und qualitativ hochwertiges Fleisch.

Das Interior vom El Gaucho ist wirklich sehr schön und passend gestaltet.Direkt am Eingang wird man von einem höflichen Personal empfangen und zum Tisch begleitet, welcher bereits schon gedeckt ist.Zu unserem Essen (250g Filet Steak mit Ofenkartoffeln) bestellten wir je ein Glas Rot und Weißwein, hierbei wurden wir sehr gut von unserem Kellner beraten und konnten erst einmal probieren bevor wir uns entschieden.Das Essen kam zügig und war wirklich perfekt. Mein Filet war Medium und zum Schluss hin noch sehr rosa, was für mich jedoch kein Problem darstellte.
