ends up sharing all our meals as they were all so good! presumably expensive, excellent eating with friendly and attentive service. also for nutritional needs were top-notch.

Amazing food. It was full of flavours. The meat was so fresh. Presentation was impressive. Ambience is so calming and interesting. The staff were exceptionally pleasing and very friendly. Perfection!!! Would totally recommend the place for a quality dining experience.

Really friendly staff, amazing food. We had kid's portion of pasta which was really nice and tasty. For starters we had crab salad with nice taste of crab and we had cheese souffle which could have a bit more strong taste of cheese. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Edie's. Everything we ordered was delicious fresh ingredients, brilliant flavour combinations and great service to boot. The decor was thoughtfully designed with a raised platform allowing you to see a beautiful view rather than a car park. Would recommend people go out of their way on a Cornish holiday to visit here.

Another meal at Edie's and another wonderful evening. Service was impeccable, very attentive explaining menus and dishes. The food was absolutely wonderful, loads of variety on the menu, ranging from fish dishes, beef to chicken and vegetarian. All cooked to specifications desired, by a brilliant chef. What a lovely family run restaurant, deserving of every table taken, as normal.

I'm so glad to have found edie's, we are on holiday in the area and this restaurant is far superior to anywhere else in the area . An exquisite menu and great beers and wine list not forgetting the front of house staff who looked after us , and very reasonable prices for fantastic produce imaginatively presented. Our first visit and we're already planning a second. Could not fault anything and would absolutely recommend to anyone. The staff were all friendly but not overbearing. We were kept up to date on our food as the kitchen was short staffed but other than a slightly longer wait than you would expect, you wouldn't know from the quality of the food. The beautifully delicate octopus was perfectly paired with pea root and presented elegantly. For the main course, the halibut accompanied by crab was complemented by perfectly caramelized sweet corn and fresh green beans, adding a delicious touch. The Gloomy and Cornish Craft Monkeys were also fantastic. This restaurant is wonderfully accessible, boasting friendly staff, and while the food is exceptional, the atmosphere remains relaxed and welcoming. Families dine alongside couples celebrating special occasions. It's essential to make reservations well in advance during peak season.

From start to finish, we had a wonderful evening. Although we couldn't book our preferred date, Kelly was incredibly helpful and suggested an alternative. We began with the English Garden Fizz cocktail, which was wonderfully refreshing. For the starter, we had the soufflé, and it was absolutely delicious. For the main course, we enjoyed chicken gnocchi, and for dessert, we had the lemon cream brûlée – all dishes were cooked to perfection, and the presentation was carefully thought out. I particularly loved the clever use of treacle tins for the sugar. It was a fantastic way to reduce waste. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was relaxing.
