Fantastic breakfast again in this cafe. Busy morning for them but service was swift and friendly as we have found on previous visits. Full cooked English was generous, well cooked and excellent quality.

Great location and although there are tables outside we went inside and the decor is great (I thought from the outside it would be old fashioned but it's smart) Had tea and scones (which were huge) with generous jam and cream Would recommend for tea and cake Voir le carte

We had breakfast at this place today, thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We were attended to by a very polite and efficient young man, and the full English breakfast we had was superb, and very well presented too. Lovely friendly little cafe right in the middle of Chedder, perfect.

Right by the roundabout and car park as you arrive at the foot of the Gorge in a lovely little building is a great little cafe with friendly service, an excellent pot of tea and one of the tastiest ham Cheddar and red onion marmalade toasties with homemade crunchy coleslaw. Don't miss it

This restaurant is an excellent choice for breakfast, lunch, or simply enjoying a drink and a slice of cake. They offer a wide selection of hot and cold options, ranging from full meals to sandwiches. My food was served promptly and was deliciously hot. The staff were courteous and attentive. Voir le carte

After a long walk around the cliff top at the Cheddar Gorge, we had seen this recommended for breakfast and brunch. Great food and service with a nice proper coffee. It was bustling with locals which is always a good sign. A toasted sandwich for me and a monster sized bacon and egg butty for my wife, good value and quality. A great place to relax after the walk.

I originally planned to just grab a coffee, but ended up indulging in the most delicious cream tea. I had the option of a plain or fruit scone served with jam, clotted cream, and a tasty strawberry. The charming decor and atmosphere, as well as the stunning views of the river from the window, made for a beautiful experience. The coffee was slightly bitter for my taste, but everything else was perfect. A lovely place overall.

I did visit here based on the good reviews I had read. However, I was very disappointed by what I was offered the service. I was visiting the area on a trip to cheddar gorge popped in here to grab a quick fulfilling breakfast before heading off for a day of adventure. I was one of the first into the restaurant and I greeted the waitress on shift but was not greeted with a particularly warm welcome. I ordered a vegetarian breakfast which was overpriced and greasy. Being the only place open for breakfast at that time, there is an opportunity to really own the space with no competition at that time, but I was left regretting my decision with x2 1 3rds of a pepper fried in oil, potatoes fried in...
