Went to this lovely pub last night for a meal with hubby ,meal was fantastic, and also staff very friendly and couldnt do enough for us,thanks again

4 people ate here 2 nights in a row. Lovely friendly staff. meals were superb. Lasagne was to die for best I have ever had (and I married into an Italian family! . Husband and friend had steak pie which they said was excellent. Fish also very good.Give it a try you won't be disappointed,

From start to finish couldn't fault our visit. Beautiful rural inn, in wonderful surroundings. Perfect is the only way to describe our experience.Great real ale, amazing food, attentive welcoming staff.Very comfortable clean accomodation. All the facilities you would need nice little extra touches.

This was a perfect peaceful relaxing one night stay.only regret is we didn’t stay longer!excellant value for money in every respect.high quality food( try the salmon! And breakfast omelette was fab) room was lovely .felt welcoming as well as peaceful and covid safe.will definitely revisit .truly cannot fault this .

We had whitebait and a carrot soup for starters both enjoyable.For mains, we both had a quiche lorraine, which was very good indeed.This is a lovely country pub, and our server was delightful.We were there on a Thursday and they offered a fixed price senior`s menu, which was very popular. The dishes looked good, and were very good value.

We visited yesterday as a party of 11 family and friends on a lovely long weekend away in the area. We called the day before to book and placed our order in advance due to the size of our group. The food was absolutely exquisite, all home made with high quality ingredients. Everyone throughly enjoyed their meals and were impressed with the variety on offer. Extremely accommdating staff . Great real ales and must visit for the homemade steak and kidney pudding alone

It was 5.30 on July 28th 2021 we we on holiday in Llandrindod wells and had been out for the day 4 adults and 2 kids under 4. We looked on Trip Advisor for somewhere to eat, We called the Dolfor inn to see if they had a table, great news we were in. We arrived at this lovely pub to be greeted and taken to our table, we felt welcome straight away. The landlord came over with a smile sense of humour and a 2 or 3 course menu with great choice of starter,main and dessert. Pate to start, beautiful chicken curry for main and a rhubarb compote for dessert all for £15.99 brilliant food and value for money. You must go here if in the area Brilliant

My husband and I are both vegetarian and when on holiday, can often find it difficult to find food other than Indian meals, especially in country pubs. Not so with the Dolfor Inn which is a joy for vegetarians, with home produced food. Staff were extremely friendly and willing to help. Friday night was burger and pizza night which we were a bit sceptical about but we needn’t have worried. Both burgers were delicious and not ‘run of the mill’ fare. The garlic mushroom starter was delicious, but my husband was less happy with his falafels. This was resolved to his satisfaction. There are simple no others words to say than The Dolfor Inn is possible one of the best places I've ever stayed in. That's because everything is done right. We only stayed one evening, and my husband and I cannot find a single thing we thought could have been done better. The room was outstanding, the bed was out of this world. I judge places I stay at by their bed and bedding, some places have a good bed and not good bedding in others it's the reverse. Here, everything is right, the bedding, the sheets, the duvet, the bed, the pillows all made for a perfect night's sleep.
