"we were only in goslar for the day, but stayed for an early dinner instead of returning to our hotel in hahnenklee. choose this place, as there are many sitting opportunities in the open - great to watch people and to take a look at the mechanical watch. we had both steak and pommes, a very banal choice, but very pleasant - prepared according to our desire, fast (and hot!) and served with a smile. accompanied by a beer (for him) and a glass red wine (I) and warming sunshine – what is more beautiful?"

I didn’t have a lot og time, so I just ordered schnitzel. Service was excellent and my drink was derved nearly instantly. The Schnitzel came with fries and mushroomsauce. It was good without Boeing excellent

we visited this restaurant for lunch. the staff was okay, but could be more friendly. we ordered Bavarian food and it was not so delicious. the beer was good, but cakes are also suggested. it is not so expensive Voir le carte

warm welcome, quick service, cozy atmosphere. who wants to enjoy typical German food is right here! we had flammekuche as main dish and delicious homemade cakes to dessert. quite a lot to eat, but price / quality very good. for drinks several own beer or beautiful German white wine. a pleasant evening in the beautiful goslar old town!

Die Butterhanne has nice breakfast options which you can enjoy while listening to organ music coming from the church next to the restaurant. As for the food: the fried eggs were fresh, the coffee was good, they also had healthier bread options, which is a...nice touch. On Sunday morning the church bells ring so often and so loud that it's hard to make conversation, but I guess it's a part of the ambience. We enjoyed our breakfast there.
