"Siamo stati a Cascina Domina per il cenone di Capodanno, organizzato all’ultimo con un pó di timore perché non siamo amanti dei capodanni al ristorante in quanto abbiamo sempre pagato tanto e mangiato davvero male. Ieri siamo invece rimasti di stucco! Cibo davvero OTTIMO ben preparato e curato anche nell’impiattamento, dal pane al dolce, porzioni giuste non troppo abbondanti e non troppo scarse, tutte le portate erano gustose! Mia sorella è vegetariana ed era convinta di pagare per mangiare due verdure bollite come spesso accade.. invece non le hanno fatto saltare mezza portata, riarrangiando ogni piatto del menù in versione veg e finendo con una selezione di formaggi accompagnati da un miele fantastico. Ai bambini sono addirittura arrivate patatine fritte tagliate e fatte in casa! Davvero dieci e lode! La nota più importante va all’attenzione scrupolosa delle cameriere, in particolare Aurora e un’altra con gli occhiali di cui non conosco il nome, che hanno curato il nostro tavolo: in tavola vino e acqua sempre presenti, veloci, sorridenti, gentilissime, simpatiche, pazienti (avevamo 6 bambini al tavolo... disponibili, insomma, davvero piacevole trovare cameriere così brave! 4 antipasti, 2 primi, 2 secondi, dolce,acqua, vino, caffè, amari,Il tutto per il prezzo a mio avviso super onesto di 55 euro (mentre cercavamo, i cenoni di Capodanno avevano prezzi da 80/90 euro a persona..! Che dire? Torneremo sicuramente! Allego foto del menu veg, le altre le recupero!"

"Main courses were very dissapointing the mixed fries were good but wouldn’t go out of my way for them So why did I give them a 4* rating, because of the service which is something to mention. I ordered a bottle of wine out of a long list, apparently it was a bubbling red wine which I didn’t like nor planned to drink for dinner, they took the bottle away without a word and brought a new one and much better one. The mixed fries also includes fried fruit, which for some reason they brought to the table before the main course, when the waiter saw that we weren’t touching it he took it back to the kitchen, and said he will bring us a fresh one when we are done with the main course. This is the type of service I would expect from attentive waiters and for that I thank them. As for the food, as the place was packed with locals I tend to believe that their food is good, but did not suit my palate"

"First, I am a former Executive Chef and have cooked for groups up to 3000 with few complaints. Last evening, our neighbors took us to Villa Les Reves for dinner with Groupon coupons. We were very impressed by the location in the hills of Chieri, surrounded by fruit trees and a very well-kept facility. Entering the restaurant, we were again impressed by the decor and were expecting great things. However, I told my wife while we were still outside that sometimes restaurants make a big deal out of the decor and scrimp on the quality of the food. Regretfully, I was right. Again, the facilities are spectacular, the service was very, very good. Even on a Tuesday evening, it was crowded but the tables were not so close together that we could not hear each other speak. I will not dwell on what I considered sub-standard food but just one example...a boiled chicken and celery salad was tasteless, probably because it had been kept in the refrigerator, again probably uncovered, which took all the taste out of even the celery. Dinner with the Groupon coupon was euro 39.90 a couple, an extra liter of water and two coffees added euro 4.50 to the bill. I wonder what it costs without the coupon? No matter, IMHO it is overpriced for the quality of what you get. They use Groupon for some reason. I think I know why."

"Serata fantastica. Dopo la visita alla basilica di Superga e veduta notturna di Torino, ci siamo recati presso questo ristorante attirati dalle recensioni positive. Anche questa volta abbiamo fatto centro. Una cena elegante, semplice, alla scoperta di nuovi gusti, profumi e colori. Si i colori che sono parte predominante delle portate. Il senso della vista è stato molto appagato come ovviamente quello del gusto. La maestria dello chef si combina perfettamente con l'eleganza e professionalità della titolare che ci ha servito e coccolato facendoci terminare in bellezza le nostre vacanze in Piemonte. Non posso dirvi di più perché vi darei troppe indicazioni, che invece meritano di essere scoperte da voi, come abbiamo fatto noi nel fare questa bellissima esperienza. Vi consiglio di prenotare. Ottimo"
