Truly the worst meal I've had in a while. I ordered the fish casserole, which had a decent variety of fish, but was severely overcooked. The wine tasted more like water. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

Popped in on a rainy Sunday, we had the scallops and the fish stew and to say it was outstanding both in portion and fresh quality taste is an understatement.cannot recommend this quaint little restaurant enough

Have eaten here many times over the years. And it's still a go-to place Food is always spot on. The lobster pasta is a fav of mine. Staff are great and always friendly. Keep up the good work, and thank for another great lunch Voir le carte

Rip off joint. Read reviews of others . No itemised Bill. £62 for 4 rounds of sandwiches and three hit drinks !! Really . Daylight robbery. In hindsight I should have read reviews of others who were victims in exactly the same manner.

Looked like a quaint old fashioned restaurant so decided we’d pop in for some crab chowder as advertised on the board outside. Turned out to be a very over priced soup which was far too peppery to identify! Disappointing as the bread was nice and fresh!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. It was truly awful. I had fond memories of the food from a previous visit, but this time the food was subpar and overpriced. The fact that the restaurant was empty should have been a red flag. Voir le carte

On a rare venture out of Salisbury, we found ourselves in Brighton. After a heavy night, our only hope of continuing in the good spirits in which we began rested firmly on the shoulders of a good breakfast. After walking for what felt, to our delicate heads, like hours and having been turned away by places already at capacity, our hope was waining. Enter Darcy’s. It wasn’t great, filled a spot, probably wouldn’t bother again. Also I think Toby’s latte was from a packet.

Cannot for the life of us understand bad reviews of this place. The seafood was really really fresh and clearly everything was carefully made. We had crab chowder which was the best chowder since one I had in San Francisco ten years ago. Mixed seafood casserole was so full of flavour and a good amount of fresh seafood and well balanced flavours. I guess some people are too used to Wetherspoon type food. The Chef did a great job (certainly on our visit anyway . Not cheap but nothing good is …We have eaten in some very good Seafood restaurants around the World and the freshness and flavours here were as good as any.

I visited this restaurant at the end of a day trip to Brighton. The waiter was attentive, but a bit overbearing. The food was good, although a bit expensive. Unfortunately, their card machine was not working, so they only accepted cash. When I asked where the nearest ATM was, one of their staff members followed me there, even when I told him I was just getting cash and not leaving my family behind. Additionally, they accidentally tried to charge me an extra £20 on my bill. As a tourist in Brighton, I know the difference between 6 and 8. If you do choose to dine here, be sure to bring cash and carefully review your bill. Voir le carte
