"after years of abstinence we visited the restaurant “Da Vito”. as in any restaurant, the question arises at some point what we take. the selection is immense. short, we agreed on pizza. my wife chose the pizza special and I chose pizza margarita. it is the simplest and cheapest pizza and is often a huge challenge for a restaurant. in that vito we were totally convinced of the really fresh preparation and own production of pizzas. in the mainzer old town there are already various pizzerias, but they move on another (lower) TK level. also in the dessert (cake) I had to put my diet out. self-made cake....a dream. Conclusion. we are highly satisfied and can recommend this vito without restriction. super!!! we come more often."

pizza was very tasty, unfortunately the content of the pizza was completely postponed and the pizza cuffed together, as the driver did not deliver it properly. that was very annoying Voir le carte

in mainz for a so-called business trip I tried this Italian place in the city for dinner. pasta of excellent quality, excellent dessert and above all much friendliness from the owner! highly recommended!

Unfortunately, the feeds are very small and just before and afterfeeding were absolutely overpriced at the amount that arrived on the teller. if then from the promised "fresh, homemade brot" tomato and olive on the carpaccio and the main dishes taste nothing, you can hardly understand the many good reviews.

Had a day trip and stopped here for lunch. We both had nice main courses, I had beef lasagne and my wife had fettuccini with smoked salmon in a cream sauce excellent and fresh as they make their own pasta.I finished off with the classic tiramisu which was really light sometimes they can be a bit heavy . Obviously a lot of competition in the area but this restaurant will not disappoint you. Voir le carte

No, no, no, no, no. but the speciality with which the card was especially advertised, the homemade tortellini, were certainly homemade and really delicious. the kombi of it...for you can go to the vito for it. the evening was nice because we found the service great. the waiters chatted here and there with the guests - a sign for masters who feel comfortable here. Dogs get a water bowl, with children getting analysed. we felt comfortable and that is important!

A well established Italian restaurant on the edge of the old town. Menu is reasonable and most tastes will be satisfied. Service is quite good and delays are rare. A nice feature in good weather is the seating area outside. The restaurant has a reasonable range of wines, beers and soft drinks. Overall, quite a nice restaurant for a quick or leisurely meal. There may be better Italian restaurants but Da Vito has proven it ability to continue to offer a reasonable meal, with reasonable service over a long time. It is open 7 days a week.

"we thought it was time that four years ago opened patagonia in the mainzer neustadt to test. the bus and tram connection is excellent, the parking situation is very difficult. there is an outside area at the restaurant, and the dining room is large and clear. because the guests were distributed outside and inside, the reservation about opentable would not have been necessary. so we were allowed to choose a table and were welcomed by the two ladies in the service friendly. we found a rectangle with a view of a large flatscreen, on which a diashow of pictures ran from patagonia, which first triggered television. steaks are offered in all variations, and the selection is quite difficult. we first took three empanadas with different fillings that relatiw quickly came out of the kitchen and taste very good.My wife decided in the main course for a rumpsteak of the even medium rare with grill potatoes and salad. I had previously researched the card in the internet and asked myself what a flap steak was. wikipedia helped and so I knew it was a cut that is very common in patagonia and comes very close to the us sirloin strip. I wanted to try this and ordered it **** in the bloom. I took a foil potato. both supplements were handed with the obligatory sourcream with coriander. the two supplemental salads were fresh, colourful and crisp, with the carrots also liked as a supplement. Even with critical consideration, the performance was in all respects of expectations: the services were extremely friendly and stood also in the meat selection with rat and did the side. the we chose to be perfectly met. confusingly I found the hints in the menu on the recommended per steak. these were all together and especially between medium and well done. that was not comprehensible for me because of the top quality of meat, all in all a very successful evening with a quite reasonable price-performance ratio. we like to come back to patagonia."
