"We found this little restaurant in this little village near Wiesbaden called Wallau on Google map and was very pleased that we stopped there for the evening.No One seemed to speak English as they were probably not used to tourists stopping there for a meal. But we can understand enough German and Italian to order what we wanted.The food was just delicious, probably the best Italian food we have come across in our 15 day tour of Baden Wurttemberg.Be sure to look it up when in the area of Wiesbaden-Nordenstadt."

Wir kommen immer wieder zum Mittagessen ins Da Nico.Auf der Schiefertafel stehen leckere Mittagsgerichte zu fairem Preis. Pasta finde ich am besten aber auch die Pizza ist gut. Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.

We ordered pizza for pickup, and despite arriving 10 minutes before it was supposed to be ready, it was already sitting out in boxes. Needless to say that by the time we got it back home to eat, it was no longer warm. Might be a single-time issue, and I would try it again.

WOW! That was an amazing meal! And we did the entire exchange in German ; The gnocchi was super fresh with fresh mozzarella and fresh basil on top oh my word. My husband got the calzone and it was delicious too. It was also quick (we were in and out in a half our due to a crazy day . Definitely going back for a more leisurely meal!

Wir waren zur Feier mit 10 Personen geladen. Also, ich muss sagen, dass ich mich hier sehr wohlgefühlt habe. Sehr schönes Ambiente. Für Raucher draußen ein Heizpilz.Bedienung sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell.Essen war sehr gut im Aussehen und vom Geschmack.Preise angemessen.Alles im Allem hat hier alles gestimmt. Das war echt Top.Ein dickes Dankeschön an das Team.

When one finds themselves in Wallau, as one occasionally does of course, then by means eat at Da Nico! Very good fresh Italian. I might opt for the pastas over the pizza but that is only recommendation. Specials are great. Note that they only take cash and German bank cards. Decor is very good with nice outdoor patio and the owner is the best very warm and personable, truly makes you feel like family.
