Constable Arms - Carte

Ate there Sat December while staying at the nearby campsite. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome and enjoyed an excellent meal. Could not find fault with anything.

We had a course Sunday lunch at the Constable Arms, the food was excellent and very tasty. We had prompt and Friendly service throughout our meal. Will definitely be coming again with family.

my twin sons turned around on Tuesday, so the family, including my daughter and friend of leeds, took again to constable arms. fantastic food, fantastic service again. recommend this place to each individual and we will go again,

Went to the constable Arms for evening meal it was the first time we had eaten there since the new owners took over. Was greeted and shown to our table left to make our choice from the varied menu.. Decided on the fish and chips...for two Absolute bargain was freshly cooked and presented nicely. Definitely will return Voir le carte

We visited one cold December Sunday hoping to get a table as we hadn't pre booked. When we arrived it was nice and quiet. We were visiting the area so wasn't sure what to expect but wow what a delicious meal. Everything was cooked to...perfection, the owners were very welcoming. I just wish this was on my doorstep as its a lovely traditional pub.

my first visit on the early Saturday afternoon, the pub was very busy when santa and woman visited claus, gave gifts to local children. a nice country pub in the heart of the village, well furnished, nicely furnished, friendly helpful staff. a nice...good menu, I went for fish and chips with muddy heap, I was very impressed. well boiled piping hot, well presented, I really enjoyed it, followed by chocolate brownie with ice, a true joy. a beautiful selection of beers, among them tetleys . well made to the whole team of the constable arms, I will be back for more.

Found this little gem on the way to a weekend away and so glad we did!! The guys running the place were lovely and so welcoming. And the food!!!....Oh my god!! I ordered the scampi and fancied the sound of the buttermilk prawns but...when ordering the manager told me there wasn't any buttermilk left but he could make me some prawns in garlic and spices ...they did not disappoint...I must of looked like I had never been fed coz I wolfed the lot down...it was delicious and probably one of the best meals we have ever had. My partner on the other hand looked like he hadn't even touched his coz the burger was that meaty and big he was defeated haha Honestly considering we just randomly found this... Voir le carte
