"After asking 3 different waiters for a coffee and a scone, I decided to wait for 30 minutes until it arrives. I made my complaint known to the bar manager. he apologized and offered to get the coffee. I declined his offer when he also said that he hadn't noticed I was sitting in the lounge. that surprised me because I was the only customer in the lounge, although I could see him and his colleagues clearly. Maybe he had been too busy showing his colleagues that his dance moved behind the bar to notice customers! very disappointed that this facility was visited very often in the last twenty years."

Lovely restaurant. Sensational views of the Loch. Delightful staff. Good food. And very dog friendly! And there was a wedding in full flow which maybe slowed the kitchen service down a tiny bit but with those views what’s the rush! Super.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and ate here every day whilst the menu was the same each day we thoroughly enjoyed all the meals we had. Staff appeared young but were friendly and helpful we only had one charging issue and...this was resolved speedily and with grace. Would happily return.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Totally accommodating for a fussy eater like me, staff were lovely and I was able to bring the dogs into the lounge so I could eat dinner after a long journey. Views amazing and the food was just brilliant and filling. Thank you for having us

our second stay on the hole and eating in colquhouns! eating was again excellent! it was a birthday meal that made it even better! I had the homemade suppe to begin and soles for pornstars birthday child had scallops to start and phesant for pornstars excellent service that was fast and friendly! will be 100% back!

First class service from staff in restaurant very attentive and smart. Compliments to them all. They are a credit to your hotel. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. Great views of the loch from restaurant at breakfast. Accomodation comfortable. Bit disappointed had to walk outside to get to restaurant for meals. Otherwise enjoyable stay.

My wife and I were here for breakfast very recently, we can both highly recommend. Absolutely stunning setting we had a table at the window, overlooking Loch Lomond it was perfect. The food was amazing the cooked breakfast was fantastic, and really sets you up for the day. Great service too, friendly and helpful staff. Five stars well deserved, will definitely be back.

Visited the restaurant for afternoon tea. The restaurant was busy, but not completely full. It took over an hour for our afternoon tea to be brought to the table after asking numerous times when this was coming. We then had to remind staff we needed...to order tea/coffee, then didn't have any teaspoons, no sugar etc. They did try and accommodate my nut allergy, but ended up bringing out something that may have contained nuts. They did rectify this by bringing an alternative. Food was nice but service was awful. Would not return.
