GOOD FOOD, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUK SERVICE, WE ARE REGULAR VISITORS AND HAVE YET TO HAVE A BAD MEAL, ALWAYS TASTY.

Good food and great hosts, the staff are great and happy to help. Went on Steak night and had an aged rump steak the quantity of food was good and not a short order, even though a cheap deal.

The food here is good quality pub food, the staff are helpful, my Mum is recovering from a stoke, and the staff made sure she was okay, and help her to get into and out over the toilet (as the doors are very heavy). Voir le carte

Great service from Dylan and food was excellent. Steaks cooked to perfection with lovely sauce. We even complimented Molly who was in the kitchen. Well done to all staff.Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!!

Called in yesterday for a catch up with friends. We normally meet in South Shields. Ordered 3 x halves of soft drinks, 2 Pepsi Max and 1 lemonade. Came to £9. I think this is extortionate for 3 glasses of pop. Wouldn’t go back.

Christmas day lunch with the family, The table was set well and looked festive, staff were kept busy and mainly friendly . The starters, main meal, and dessert were works canteen quality. Obviously plated the day before and heated up in the microwave. Very disappointed indeed ! Voir le carte

Visited whilst my car was being valeted nearby and was impressed by two young male members of Staff, one was the barman and the other a server/table waiter. The barman was so professional and nice and the table waiter was constantly cleaning down tables in-between delivering meals to diners. The Gammon with egg peas and chips was tasty and well presented,

Went to cock crow inn for lunch on thursday 20 i was serve by yound lad i think his name was dylan he was very helpful about the menu help me and mother what was on he had excellent manner skills and he serve is with drinks the food was very tatsy which i spicy burger which was really tasty full credit whoever cook this i was really nice and dough balls were excellent and pudding were faultless

Pretty poor service. Took an hour for our food for 2 people. Tables that came in after we had ordered, getting their food first. After 40 minutes I asked a waitress what's going on she said she would check. 10 minutes later still hadn't come to let us know anything so then had to go speak to a lad who said it will be coming next, I mentioned that others were getting their food who had came in and ordered after us he just said ours is next. A few more dishes came out for other tables then finally ours after an hour. They obviously had forgotten about our order.
