Just popped in for a quick half. Never visited before. Staff very friendly and attentive

One of the best Sunday Roasts we've had in a long time. Every course was gorgeous, well seasoned and every element was tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back

Nice venue for a family meal. Good quality of food but service is a little slow. However goes on my blacklist for issuing gift cards with no expiry date shown and not allowing them to be extended please note they are only valid for one year then they will just pocket your money! Held our wedding here in April. It went so smoothly and everyone said that the staff could not have been mors helpful. Food was delicious and plentiful, and the wine suggestions complemented the food perfectly. We used all the bedrooms and our guests were delighted. Stayed overnight here for a special birthday celebration. Had a lovely 3 course meal which was exceptional, and plenty of wine! Served in a small cosy, private room. The barstaff/waitresses were really good, no pressure to drink up or rushed with the courses and we had good banter with the bar staff. Bedrooms were of a very high quality, comfortable double bed with ours having a sepàrate bathroom upstairs. Full Yorkshire breakfast the following morning was excellent . Highly recommended for a romantic or family meal and stopover. Gave four stars for location because some people would find it quite remote, however for our celebration it was ideal.
